Here we go again

I only went a few times before it closed, I actually had a pretty good time on each occasion. Will probably try the new one.

Not sure if you saw mine or Goldmonger reviews, but Synsations actually is pretty decent. It's no Vivide, but I can see it fulfilling a niche in that particular part of Atlanta. Hot women, nice Atmosphere, VIP options, and 2 bars. Kitchen is WIP.

I'll check out Platinum whenever it opens. I always try to give clubs a chance, even unpopular ones.

@Owlyoung - Yes I have seen all of the reviews. Goldmonger knows his way around Atlanta and so does Rod84 that is a personal friend of mine. I also know that Cain, former night manager at Follies who is behind the SYN start up, is in the hospital with flesh eating bacteria. I also know that he hired out of state dancers to work at the Grand Opening. I also did VIP with a dancer at Goldrush last week that tried working there. See my review for Goldrush.

So in my humble opinion it is a failure and the future of a lot of Atlanta clubs is in doubt. Lack of customers and dancers.

How the hell do you get flesh eating bacteria, is that even in the states

I had good times--Vivide sorts of good times--when I was here.
If I'm back down there, I'll definitely check it out.

Flesh-eating bacteria is pretty rampant in most strip clubs, bwahahahaha!

It is cetrain types of strep and staph and is often in slow-moving fresh water. Even in the USA. 1,000 cases a year.

Are clubs hurting that badly. I assumed Onyx was slow because of Superbowl hype. The activity at most of the clubs was mostly standard. I admit that there seems to be less mongers every time I visit.

one of the insta photos says "Hookah Girls Wanted". I have never understood the attraction of hookahs. I've ripped plenty of bongs and even have an antique Arabian water pipe, but I have never understood why someone would be interested in the sheer douchebaggery of smoking a hookah in a club.

wrt flesh-eating bacteria: Vibrio infections are not unheard of along the gulf coast. It can cause food poisoning if you swallow contaminated water or eat contaminated shellfish. If it enters an open wound - a cut or scratch on your skin- then it causes the flesh-eating variety and sepsis.

Jimi was former bouncer at Follies, mgr at the now closed Diamond club, mgr at Gibs Jazz bar, mgr at The O Atlanta and is/was mgr at Onyx. He does not have a good track record. Maybe it's his cigar.
