Jump to latestYeah, recycling is how dumb left-wingers show they are not easily outdone by dumb right-wingers who think increasing the atmospheric greenhouse effect is nothing to worry about. The plastic straw thing started when a sea turtle was found with a plastic straw stuck up it's nose or something. I'm guessing if you surveyed the stupidist 5% of sea turtles, they much more frequently would have sticks stuck up their noses. Just seems like Trump could let somebody lower level get the glory from rescuing the plastic straw.
Seems like making it illegal to recycle paper might help prevent global warming. Paper isn't made from trees from old-growth forests, it's got captured carbon in it. If you landfill it, wouldn't that be carbon sequestration?
Here is my take.... WHO FUCKING CARES....
Remember we had to go away from Paper bags at grocery stores because too many tree were getting cut down to plastic bags. Well now plastic bags are polluting the earth. See how things are just a big fucking circle.
