Should strippers do more synchronized dancing?

You know often times these girls if they even bother to take the stage at all, you might see them hug the pole or just flop on the floor for 3 songs. The lack of effort is downright embarrassing. And I’m not a guy who goes to the strip club for fucking bitches, asses, titties, getting handjobs , blowjobs, not interested in any of it…I’m there because I want to see dancing. Like dance with stars, live. As if I’m in living in the movie “Bring it on”

Anyway I was recently watching a group of weird German folks doing all kinds of weird German shit, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iBQ77tcUHo… on one hand it might just be the faggiest thing you’ve ever seen but on the other hand you say to yourself, if I work at it…maybe that could be me too up there one day. But it got me thinking, wouldn’t you love the strip club way more if you had girls getting up there and doing these synchronized group dances. It’d be like a Janet Jackson video IRL.

I don't go to make it rain nightshifts anymore but on Dayshift in my area I totally get why the dancers don't get on the pole or do crazy tricks on the pole there's no money coming to the stage.

in Thailand at the Go Go clubs I saw a lot of synchronized dancing..Some of the larger clubs would have like 20 to 30 girls up on the stage at the same time. It was cool. it was different... a change of pace... although I wouldn't want it all the time everywhere.

Back in the early days (70s) I saw 2 long legged lasses with shapely asses doing a cheerleaders type dance, complete with pompoms. Twas graceful and beautiful. Leaned on the mirrored back wall and waved their near identical behinds in sync.

That German performance was like a floor show... Ok But I'd rather see the girls dancing for the most part.

I’ve seen in clubs where dancers take pride in their stage work, it’s not uncommon to see something where they are both doing pole tricks simultaneously. It will be something like one dancer up high towards the ceiling and the other somewhere in the middle. And in Denver for whatever reason, lots of dancers love going on stage together, even if only one of them is obligated to be there at a particular time.

But yesssss to the Moskaw song. That got stuck in my head so many times when I was in high school.

I'll tip dancers when they do really good pole dancing. Even if I never intend to get a lap dance from them, I will still tip well when I see really impressive pole dancing.

I saw a dancer many years ago at the Memphis Platinum Plus named lil Bit. She put on such a great show on stage that the guys were standing 3 deep at the stage trying to tip her. Later she passed by me on the floor and I stopped her and gave her another thank you and tip.

I saw her again at the Columbia SC Platinum Plus after the Memphis club got shut down.

It's miserable that there's so little incentive at most clubs for good stage-work. At the end of the day, it's an entirely different skillset from giving a good LD and much more raw physical effort so it makes sense that it grows rarer and rarer.

Most of the great polework I've seen was actually in NOLA during Mardi Gras. You'd think the tourist-trap vibe would ruin it and Rick's/Hustler clubs are notoriously bad value for a reason but the girls were definitely putting on a show worthy of Carnival. Totally worth getting hustled on Bourbon street and the $80 air dance.

It's not really my thing. So I'd say No, they don't need to do more of it. But around here, the effort put in on stage is highly variable from dancer to dancer and from club to club, even from shift to shift.

If you want to go to a club to see dancing, it's available. You can go to Vixens on Saturday nights. They usually do some sort of rather elaborate show. You can check out their IG, it's got a fair amount of content like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/DCA4z8zR72j/… even on other nights, they've got hoops and trapeze type stuff they'll lower down from the roof and girls will use them in their dance routines. To some extent, Solid Gold tries to replicate that vibe, not with the same regularity or success, but I've seen ads for it and spoken to one of the girls who is more dancer than stripper who sometimes works there. I've seen it first hand at Vixens and there is some entertainment value there, especially with a mixed group of friends. But, I've never seen the Solid Gold version so I can't comment on the quality.

A few other clubs do put a focus on stage dancing. I think tonight the local Rhino is hosting some sort of finals for a pole national pole dancing competition, I wanna say 5k to the winner and they're paying the expenses of the non-local contestants to travel for the competition. ORA has a similar thing, I think with a larger prize pool but it's mostly local girls or out of towners who want to foot their own travel expenses. I'm not sure about the turnout at Rhino, but at ORA it seems to draw a pretty big crowd.

But at most places, its mostly just a bit of gently walking around with one hand on the pole, maybe a quick wiggle of an ass. Some clubs don't even really have proper stage/pole setup's to facilitate much dancing. But at the clubs that do, there are usually a couple girls per shift who put in effort. Some clubs have girls who are strippers because they like to dance, not girls who have to dance because they're strippers.

For me, I like giving the dancers the opportunity to put in as much or as little effort as they want. I feel like I learn a lot about a dancer by seeing what she does or doesn't do on stage. I'm sure I've made some bad assumptions based on what I see, but over all I think I've saved myself quite a bit of time/money by passing on the hot girls that put in zero effort on stage.

Usually the amount of effort on stage mirrors the amount of customers tipping. A lot of time the stage area is empty. Theres no incentive

I guess mainstream pole dancing as a fitness routine peaked in 2004 or so. I had so many HS friends on facebook who had transformed themselves into complete MILFs through pole dancing. CSI even did an episode that centered on women who learned pole dancing to obtain Vegas-stripper bodies. It's a shame that so few women stripping today actually seemed to have taken an interest. That should absolutely be an elective module in vocational school and college PE courses.
