If there were a politician similar to Maduro, Xi, or Putin running for office in the US (and there is not- Trump is further from that mold than Harris and you know it), would there be a moral and patriotic obligation to block that candidate's certification as the elected leader? If We the People voted for that nominee as the electee and a misguided body blocked it, would we have then a patriotic obligation to take to the streets and enforce the results of the election? That would be a constitutional crisis.
