After close

Anyone know where everyone goes after this place closes? I’ve found myself nearby around 8-9 but they’re closing up. I’ve heard some dancers work at other clubs but I can’t imagine most do and haven’t seen anyone I recognize elsewhere although I’m usually only at PO. Maybe there is another spot I don’t know about. Feel free to PM. I’ll have to ask around discreetly the next time I’m there.

I asked that question last week and the dancer -- one of the more mature dancers at 42 years of age -- said she no longer goes out after they close. However last year or the year before when I asked a different dancer, she talked about a place out on 63rd St, while another dancer alluded to a biker clubhouse on Lancaster south of Girard. Also, some women have said that on weekend nights they go over to The Pic .

The Pic is a common destination. Some also dance at PO. Another dancer mentioned Gold Club.

If you looking for the hood chicks, they are not going to stray too far from that side of town. As mentioned above, there is typically some type of spot around the Lancaster/Girard/52nd-63rdish area.

You just have to keep eyes and ears open to find it.

The chicks that are not superhood may go to the Pic.

The girls at The Pic aren't exactly non-hood girls. But, you did use the term superhood, so I suppose there is relativity involved in levels of hood characteristics.

Been to OSC once. Never been to the Pic, but am generally familiar with the area. Is one neighborhood really more "hoody" than the other?

I didn't think so, but there appear to be people who think The Pic is less hood than La Pearl/OuterSpace. They are both located in residential neighborhoods, with parking on nearby streets.

I suppose someone more well-versed in the Philly sections (West Philly, North Philly, etc) may be able to more succinctly summarize each area than I can. Both are in urban neighborhoods....they feel the same to me.

They are certainly less hood than Baltimore's Block IMO.

What makes Baltimores block so ghetto and dangerous?
So it wouldn’t be safe to wear a diamond watch there?

In considering “hoodness”, remember that “The Wire” was set in Baltimore…….

I have little experience with Baltimore, have not visitied any strip clubs there. My impression though is not good. I once stayed in the harbor area (which is nice) but when I ventured beyond that I quickly got bad vibes. Nothing happened but it's one of the few cities I've been too that gave me that feeling.
