Thinking of making my way down to TJ. when i went a couple times a years ago, I parked near the Jack in the Box lot i think and it was $20 for the night. It was long a strip of parking and then you would walk past the Jack in the Box on the way to the entrance to the border. Was this known as the east entrance? not sure.
Just wondering if there are other, better options nearby. Don't mind if it cost more. Thank you.

trolley... palm avenue... a few stops north of san ysidro. free parking.
Trolley is definitely a low cost option ($2.50 each way.) I often take it from San Diego. Just beware that it does not run between about 1:40 AM and 4:30 AM.
The border station near the trolley and jack In the Box is commonly called PedEast. There are a number of lots in the area.
