AI reviews of Club Desire

It seems like a lot of adjudicators don't know what an AI review looks like, so I asked ChatGPT to write one. The one takeaway is "a lot of words without saying anything." It's a weird mix of vapid but flowery language, bad corporate-speak, and things no one cares about. I loved the part about "diversity and inclusion."

Prompt: "write a review of club desire, a strip club, adult entertainment venue, in providence, rhode island"

Club Desire, located in Providence, Rhode Island, offers a mix of adult entertainment and a club atmosphere. Here’s a detailed review based on various sources and customer experiences.

Atmosphere and Venue
Club Desire is known for its upscale and welcoming environment. The club has been celebrated for its spacious interior, modern decor, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. Patrons can enjoy stage shows and private dances in luxurious champagne suites, adding to the high-end experience (ClubDeSireRi) (ClubDesireRI).

Entertainment and Services
The club boasts a diverse range of entertainers, often praised for their beauty and professionalism. Reviews highlight the high quality of performances, with many customers noting that the dancers are a major draw. The club also offers private dances and exclusive champagne rooms for a more intimate experience (TrustReviews).

Food and Drink
Club Desire offers a full bar with a premium selection of liquors. Additionally, there is a private club within the venue called Lust, which features a five-star dining menu and is available for corporate and private functions. The club also provides a complimentary Business Men’s Lunch daily, emphasizing its commitment to offering a comprehensive experience beyond just entertainment (ClubDeSireRi) (ClubDesireRI).

Customer Service
Reviews on customer service are mixed. Some patrons have praised the friendly and professional staff, including bartenders and bouncers, and noted reasonable drink prices, especially with special deals like the $20 drink card which offers a $25 credit (TrustReviews). However, there have been complaints about rude management and issues with fairness in handling customer complaints, such as disputes over money (TrustReviews).

Diversity and Inclusion
Some reviews indicate issues with diversity and inclusion, particularly regarding the hiring of entertainers. There have been accusations of racial discrimination in hiring practices, which has affected the club’s reputation among some potential entertainers and patrons (TrustReviews).

Overall Experience
Overall, Club Desire receives mixed reviews. While many patrons appreciate the high-quality entertainment and luxurious setting, others have had less positive experiences with customer service and management. It appears that the club strives to offer a top-tier adult entertainment experience, but like many such venues, it faces challenges in consistently meeting all customers' expectations (TrustReviews) (Review Stream).

If you’re considering visiting Club Desire, it might be worth checking it out for its well-regarded performances and upscale atmosphere, while keeping in mind that experiences can vary.

Most certainly, the flowery language and use of many adjectives are more akin to an academic essay than a PL review board.

Interesting. That's actually better than I would have expected. The wording discloses that it's summarized from other reviews, and it's not as obviously wrong as some of the reviews I've rejected. The sure giveaway is the disclaimer at the end about views differing.

I did same for Deja Vu in Colorado Springs, and Player Club in Denver. Each review was so far off from what has been posted on TUSCL it was laughable.

Currently, ChatGPT's content restrictions won't allow it to produce the sort of details that the average club customer wants to know.

So, if you're reading a strip club review that could just as easily be a nightclub review, then it's probably AI. If the spelling and grammar is nearly perfect, then it's definitely AI.

No righteous P.L. would mention diversity and inclusion.

LOL @skibum, yes, it's bad corporate speak. Any self respecting PL would say "more hot black chicks please."

LMAO "diversity and inclusion" ... AI will take its place in society as a useful tool (when it can do things like assist in identifying and treating diseases, not generate useless images of cats playing poker), but that's a few years away. In the meantime it's just overblown hype which scrapes already biased training data and spits it out.

How about this? If an IA review isn't painfully obvious to you, don't adjudicate reviews.

^^ That's like saying "people who aren't good drivers shouldn't be driving." The fuckwads who couldn't drive their way out of a paper bag are usually the ones least aware of the fact that they just don't need to be driving. So, the folks giving thumbs up for AI-generated reviews are in the worst position to judge their own inability to recognize what is obvious to the rest of us. In other words, self-awareness isn't a strong suit of the human race.
