Alaska During Short Days and Long Nights

There's not much recent review of the Anchorage club scene (I hope to boost that soon), and the existing reviews suggest limited mileage inside the club. Anybody with recent insights that they'd like to share? Which club has the best eye candy? Any of them with a reputation of having a halfway decent takeout menu? Great Alaskan Bush Company has no VIP rooms, but it looks like Sinrock does...are Sinrock's private areas worth visiting? Do they still have poker games at Crazy Horse, and if so how do you join one? Thanks for your earned wisdom.
