Mitzi's closed sometime in '21. I was there once in 2020, during the pandemic. I had a good time that night, despite it being super smoky inside. It was one of the few clubs to remain open during the pandemic. Living in the DC suburbs, Mitzi's was outside my typical clubbing radius. I made a subsequent visit in early '21, but found the place not open that night. I don't think it was permanently closed yet at that point. I wonder if the death of the owner Mitzi ultimately hastened the club's demise?

I went to Mitzi's once because I was trying to finish a list but don't really remember it.
