Was this at an ATL club? Have you asked any dancers at this club about it?

That would have been a first for me too. I was just at most the better hood clubs in Atlanta two weeks ago and didn’t see any of this

I did see a pimp type lurking nearby in a very shady club in east St Louis one time a few years ago and the girl made a reference to him but never anything blatant like that

Although, not as bad, some clubs have similar themes all across US. I've had experiences where local SWs were in the club, drumming up their biz. I've also seen out-of-state escorts doing stripping and passing out their phone numbers for OTC. Rare strippers, doing ITCs, OTCs.

Girls need $ (& occasionally the vibe) - and some want it more than others, willing to do ITCs / OTCs, and some others use help of promoters, pimps, managers, support teams...

More you go to many of these places: u will see everything. Although I haven't come across the pimps in clubs, I do believe you - it is bound to happen.

For those not familiar, this is a club where ITC extras are pretty common.

Did you get the impression the guy was a pimp or pimp/boyfriend?

The only reason I ask - none of here are choirboys. We’ve all done some borderline shady stuff. But I’ve never understood a guy who’d pimp out his actual girlfriend. That’s some pretty messed up shit.

Not to say he wasn't but no indications he was a boyfriend. In the pictures and vids all the guys were white. He was AA, so he was not in the pics.

That sounds like straight up human trafficking. If she's a 7 then she should have no problem setting up VIPs for herself. Having a pimp there blatantly pushing her on me would have me completely steering away from her. Why do you think she was looking at the two of you with "dread'? I have a couple of conjectures, but only you were there.

I think it was more of "what the hell is he showing him"? The guy never called her over or anything while I was sitting there.

It really irks me when I see dancers giving money to their boy friends or pimps in a club. In fact I just hate that the clubs will allow these predators to hang out there not spending any money.

If I suspect that a dancers is working for a pimp, she won't get any money from me.

You could create a burner IG/Twitter/whatever the club uses account and tip them off that they have a pimp in the club.

Of course, that'll just mean they'll go elsewhere.

This guy was friends with the staff. Even went behind the bar once for something.

Most of the girls there don’t work with pimps but I can pretty well guess who you met. There are two. Was the guy dressed kind of like a stereotypical pimp? This guy dresses flash and watches.

Both dancers and PLs should avoid clubs that knowingly tolerate this. The people who pressure LE to come after P4P claim it's always human trafficking. If a club turns a blind eye to pimping, it's lends credibility to that claim. Especially if the pimp is manhandling dancers in the club. I don't think a dancer could have any trust the club cared about her security.

One of my former favs told me her dad was a pimp, back in the day, before she was born. She said she knew a woman who he had run, she was a family friend. She said that some sex workers need pimps, because they are as financially illiterate as a grade school kid. I suppose, hypothetically there could be a "good pimp", providing security, emotional support and money management for a reasonable fee. Not sure that exists in real life, although there are probably better versus worse pimps. Sometimes the line between SO and pimp-with-only-one-sex-worker is blurred. Does he hit her and/or psychologically abuse her? Does he work? Is he the homemaker/housecuck?

I’m not going to get too specific about what I know about the one he’s talking about because it’s confused me for a long time. I know a lot of girls on that shift some of whom are friends with the dancers I’m pretty sure are being referred to. It’s not normal for that club and the other dancers say he’s kind of like a manager for the two girls in question. I do know they have some nice stuff and seem to live a fairly good lifestyle. However yeah it confuses me. I don’t think it’s what I would call trafficking though and it’s the exception not the rule though.

I will agree it’s too conspicuous though and regardless of what’s going on it might get be a mistake for the club to let it be so visibl especially since they are having trouble after being annexed. I really don’t think there is anything sinister going on though. I At least that’s what other dancers have told me.

I don’t remember ever seeing an obvious pimp in a seattle club. I see some in the girls’ insta photos from time to time though. Maybe I’m not paying enough attention. Either way, fuck those POS’s. Pimps suck. There was a fake one here for years, and he sucked too. The real thing must be even worse!
