Dancer tipouts

I know this has been brought up many times, but I can't seem to find something up-to-date using google. I want to get a general consensus on tipout etiquette for dancers. I have been to clubs in Ohio, Maine, Florida, and California many times over a 30 year period, though probably not as often as some of you lol. I hit the clubs hard in 2017-2019 and again in 2021-present. This is what I think I have seen:

Dancers pay either a flat rate tipout, or tip various staff directly. I have seen clubs as cheap as $20 tipout, up to $100 or more to work that day.

Or

Tips to DJ, Floor Guy/bouncer, house mom, and ?

I have read that tips from a dancer in total should not exceed 20% though some club management are predatory and try to get more. Some clubs also I have heard of bouncers asking the girls to get their tip and then also ask the girl for 10%.

Also a girl that makes no money shouldn't be tipping, because tipping is always optional. Now if a place is charging them rent, that is different..Rent always has to be paid, money made or not...

So I may be wrong or right, but I would like to hear what you know about tipout etiquette around the USA, and even the world...Maybe I'll write a comprehensive article with my findings...

Thanks!

Here is one that I just heard about. My favorite club has a large number of Cuban dancers. Normal tip out to the house is $65 and paid to the door girl upon entering the club. This is to prevent some girls from skipping out without paying their tip out. The other part of it is that for those dancers that do not have a valid license from the city, the tip out is $100.

This varies all over place even in just my local market. Some club here have house fee that varies with time checking in. And club normally gets a cut off of room / lap dance charges. Then tip out for dancer on dancer income. One local club doesn’t have house fee, dancers are employees at low tipped employees hourly rate club gets $5 of each $25 lap dance or $50 from each $200 30 min room. Tip out is 10% to DJ and 3% to someone plus $5 to House mom.

Dancers Should Only Give $$$Money To The House (Main OverHead). They Shouldn't Have To Give $$$ To Other Employees @ The Club.
$Tip Some Extra To Give Some Cushion For The House. Tuscl Cheers!
