Just back from about 15 hours of clubbing over two afternoons and evenings at six Portland, OR area clubs - all on the east side of the river.
I’ve traveled the US extensively however had never been to Portland. The weather lived up to its reputation - cool and rainy. One ROB averted and a few aggressive Cubanas but otherwise mostly positive experiences.
Will likely submit reviews soon on a few places where I spent the most time. The short version of my experience - tons of clubs in the area, hipster scene everywhere you look, tattoos galore, expensive dances. No idea how the market sustains this volume of clubs at these dance prices ($40/song per seems to be the norm; had one diva nut job unsuccessfully claim $80).
I paid 3/$100 more commonly and did pay one girl $50/song. It was late, she was hot and my judgement was alcohol impaired.
After just being in Atlanta where $5 and $10 dances are common my ATM card is still weeping.

And the mileage?
