@DRic3
I will play along and answer your questions and comment on your discussion,
Q: 1. Pretty general - what can we expect? (Regarding New to Vegas/Clubs - Hire a Stripper?)
A: You and your wife can expect to be disappointed, because Las Vegas is nothing but a tourist trap where visitors can overpay for everything, specially in the Adult Entertainment Industry. Usually you get the bait and switch and the overcharging for anything “extra”
Q: 2. What if things lead to more than just dancing? Would that not violate Vegas's prostitution laws?
A: In theory you are supposed to be paying for her time and agreed “basic” services (stripping, dancing, teasing, some touching, is mostly up to the stripper to set her “limits”.
Anything “extra” can be “negotiated” in the privacy of your hotel room, but if it happens is going to cost you. She might be worried that you are Law enforcement and this is entrapment.
Some strippers would make extra money by seeing patrons as potential “johns.”
However soliciting prostitution – which is merely the offer to trade sexual favors for money – is illegal in Clark County where Las Vegas is located.
The way the Adult Industry (escorts, strippers, hookers etc) gets around the law is by saying that YOU are paying for her “time and companionship”, anything that happens between two consenting adults (sex) in the privacy of your hotel room is not paid for, “legally speaking”.
If you don’t want to “break the law” and pay for sex you can go to the counties in Nevada where prostitution is legal, to the Bunny Ranch or the Chicken ranch. You can set-up an appointment to see the “courtesan” of your choice in their websites.
Bottom line is that Las Vegas is a tourist trap, but if you want to pay for it and can afford it you can.
