One of my favs applied for a sales job. She didn't mention her stripping experience. But she has no other real sales experience (besides cashier). Was that the right move?
If a stripper is really successful , she has to be a good sales person. Her product is herself so she has to have the ultimate in self confidence. I would tell her go for it. She can always go back to the strip club.

Q: Was that the right move? (One of my favs applied for a sales job.)
A: Yes; she has experience in sales; because she has been selling lap dances and VIP’s
And she doesn’t have to mention her work in the adult industry as stripper, because the industry has a bad reputation.
I know ex-strippers and ex-porn-actresses that work in a variety of jobs, and sales and marketing are a some of them.
As long as people are willing and to work hard and behave properly they will be able to get ahead in their work.
Good for her for applying for another job, you should be supportive and be happy for her.
But what does DJG stand for ?
