Strip Clubs With The Most ROBs

Strip Club Nation
I thought back on my career as a strip clubber and asked 'which strip clubs have I encountered the most ROBs in?' I made a list of those strip clubs on a Post-It and was then was able to sort those strip clubs into one of three following categories:

1) Clubs in cities where people go to party for a few nights. For example: Las Vegas, New Orleans, Key West, Miami, Nashville. The people who club in tourist-oriented cities and “go hard” for a few days accept they will be blowing money. When they get ripped off, they generally just accept it as a cost of the trip. The strippers who work in these cities have no problem ripping off tourists who they reckon they will never see or have to deal with ever again. They justify that if they don’t take the suckers’ money, a casino or tourist trap will, so why not?

2) Clubs near airports. These strip clubs have a higher proportion of traveling customers. The out of towners generally don’t know the rules, prices, and schemes being run at a foreign club. ROB’s take advantage of this lack of intelligence and feel there is little chance of them being confronted on a subsequent shift because the customers will fly out and never see them again.

3) Clubs near sports venues. You have a lot of inebriated guys that want to see tits after a football, baseball, or other sports game. ROB dancers like to prey on guys who have had too much to drink and are not all there. Over a decade ago, I remembered reading about a strip club near Camden Yards that routinely drugged customers and ran up their credit cards.

So then, what kinds of strip clubs tend to have no ROBs?

The strip clubs where I have almost never dealt with ROB’s are located in rural areas or smaller towns. There is a much smaller population base to support the club, and there are very few travelers coming through. Bad publicity and upset customers could end a rural club much more easily. In low population density areas, clubs tend to have a higher percentage of regulars. Also, everyone seems to know each other in less populated places. Patrons might even know of the families that the dancers come from. A club working off of a smaller customer base will feel a drop off of customers much more than a big city club that gets fifty or one hundred new faces to rip off (and piss off) every single night.

I tend to find a regular and stick with her, so I’ve probably only encountered one truly memorable ROB. And that was a girl at the Mons Venus - and not coincidentally this club checks off all the boxes

Good list

Can't think of any off the top of my head bc I likely wouldn't visit that club.

But I do recall a Vegas club (I don't recall the name) a few years ago that was shut-down that if I recall had a very-bad rep for ROBing - if I recall correctly the staff/dancers were even stealing custies' credit-card #s and going on shopping sprees.

I also recall reading reviews of Treasures Houston that had many complaints of ROBs - I recall one reviewer writing that a dancer sat with him and talked to him for a while all the time the bartender was charging his credit-card every song she was talking to him (likely the dancer and bartender were working as a team) - I think the guy ended-up getting charged like 2 or 3 grand on his CC - this was b/f the city cracked down on all Houston clubs circa 2013 or 2014 - Treasures no longer seems to have the same M.O. but it's not necessarily the most customer-friendly club.

I guess my response to all of this is "OK, maybe, but..."

Yes I won't club in Vegas or the French Quarter anymore. There's just no point. Same with Manhattan and Central to East L.A.

But IME a strong presence of ROB activity is as much situational as anything. For example, I think that clubs near sports arenas and airports in smaller market cities are less prone to high percentage ROB behavior than those in much larger cities where that activity is already more common. I have also seen very small market clubs suddenly attract a lot of vultures during annual or other special events, but otherwise are good places to have fun.

Also, while I agree that smaller market clubs tend to have fewer ROBs due to reputational concerns and repeat customers, that can also have negative consequences. In many isolated rural clubs, the same factors that keep a lid on ROB behavior also often cause the girls to be risk averse in other ways. When a girl only has one or two club options and everyone is always paying attention to what everyone else is doing, finding any not-so-clean fun is unlikely. It doesn't help that the cost of living is so low in those areas that the girls don't need to earn much to make ends meet. For these reasons I avoid isolated rural clubs almost as avidly as those in large tourist trap areas.

For me the sweet spots are small city markets, with enough clubs to create real competition and options for everyone, but small enough that they are still reliant enough on locals that the ROB issues are muted. Places like Lexington (KY) and Greenville (SC) are two good examples. I also have to add Milwaukee (WI) to that list after a very good trip there right before the pandemic.

Jacksonville (FL) was also a sweet spot city for years, but it's starting to evolve into something else with all of the big tech and financial services firms moving operations here. I just hope it doesn't eventually become the Austin of Florida, replete with expensive low ROI clubs reminiscent of some larger market cities.

It's not about the club. If you cine across like a mark you'll be treated like one. Anywhere.

Sadly, a hot dancer in a club that charges by the song, can easily do this ROB stuff and do well.

If a customer has enjoyed several drinks, and then he takes a hot girl for dances, it’s easy to get distracted. Having a nice set of tits in a guys face, and enjoying a cock stiffening grind - can cause a guy to lose count.

That’s no excuse for ROB behavior, but it explains how easy it is to lose count of dances.

I’m just wondering how difficult it must have been for Sinclair to hide his hard on after encountering that ROB behavior? He mentioned that he gets stiff for that shit, so with a hottie grinding on him for 10 songs - and that hottie being a ROB, it must have been a very arousing time!

Sorry. I posted in the wrong Sinclair discussion! This comment is possibly pertinent here too.

Location seems to be your primary concern. I see some of that here, but it's not just that. I use Pompano, FL as an example. Your odds of finding a ROB at Cheetah during a day shift are very, very low. At Booby Trap, a little higher but still quite low. At Diamond Dolls, it's pretty likely she's gonna try to get over on you and probably 50/50 that'll land in ROB territory. They're all within 5 miles of each other. Key West is another good example, although highly seasonal. If you go this week, you're certain to encounter multiple ROB's. But if you were there in August, pretty unlikely unless you look and act like a complete tourist whose never set foot in a strip club before.

It's a culture or atmosphere thing here more than anything. When management allows or even support it, then it becomes the norm. When management cuts terminates them, the behavior is minimal.

Great clubs a few minutes from DTW.

New Orleans is absolutely terrible. Same goes for Atlanta.

But strip clubs near airports are usually okay.

This thread is stupid. You're all basically saying clubs in bigger cities are more expensive and you're less likely to find hookers.

Whether you really get ripped off has nothing to do with location. It comes down to you presenting yourself as a mark.
