I played tennis for a while. It can be a frustrating sport. You sometimes have to release that frustration. Plus you are probably only using one racket and the surface is hard. Those things do take some abuse. The tempers are no worse than golfers. Except you have several different clubs and the grass is softer than a tennis court.
