What factors make strippers not want to do OTC or become escorts?

Escorting is supposedly much more profitable than stripping and many dancers do go into escorting or porn work eventually. Clubs can be used to gain clients and fame. However some don’t become escorts, nor offer otc. To some extent you could likely get anyone to agree to otc if you offered enough, theoretically even straight guys would do gay stuff for pay. I have heard it could be due to legal concerns, privacy concerns, personal safety concerns, disease concerns, or related to relationship boundaries/restrictions where lapdances are fine but full on sex is cheating.

For some it is just a line they don't want to cross. I suggest that you always interact with them as civilians anyway. Never act like they sell sex, like money buys them, or like they are motivated by money. SJG

I’m guessing, but I would think a stripper earns more in a work shift than an escort if she has a good hustle. The stripper can scope out clients before deciding to offer extras. The escort is stuck with whomever contacts her. Escorts have a passive business model; strippers can actively hustle business.

Public Service Announcement (PSA) BigThirdEye is just cacaplop trying to swamp these forums with repetitive, stupid questions, either via his own threads or crashing other threads. But, as always, take a look at his posting history and judge for yourself. If engaging with his inane posts is fun for you, then go for it. Otherwise, don't think you're answering sincere questions. ~ [view link].Ishmael ~ April 29, 2022 “In this world, shipmates, sin that pays its way can travel freely, and without a passport; whereas Virtue, if a pauper, is stopped at all frontiers." ~Father Mapple via Herman Melville's "Moby Dick".

Phred i think an attractive escort would make significantly more than an attractive stripper. An attractive escort can charge $400-$600 per hour. A stripper could likely only pull that kind of money on a friday or Saturday, or a lucky weekday, and it would take several hours of talking and selling dances. A stripper who offers OTC may be able to charge as much as a similarly attractive escort, but may not be able to gain as many clients if she doesn’t advertise herself online. Stripping offers more privacy than posting porn online, or posting ads on escort sites, or onlyfans etc. I don’t know how often it happens but apparently many escorts and pornstars were previously strippers

I dont know what average incomes are but I thought only the best strippers made 150k to 200k. Which would be about $500 a day. For an escort that would be an average of one client a day.

Strippers have more ability to have stricter boundaries than escorts, and make the trade-off that suits them between $ and stress/emotional health.

What do you mean tradeoff between $ and emotional health stress? Like choosing when to do or not do OTC?

The escorts also have regulars. They almost always advertise online and strippers seem to value privacy more. You may be more likely to find a college student or medical student stripping secretly than posting on escort sites. I don’t see the value of lapdances unless the price is fair, and the stripper is more attractive than escorts in the area. Escorts don’t usually have a house fee cut. $400 is like an hour or less vip at clubs but it can take you far with an escort. You can get full nude lapdances from them
