40+ Dancers

Hi, as we all get older I am wondering if any of you who are my age work in any clubs where older women who keep in shape are appreciated (customers won't feel like they are robbing the cradle, playing with someone ther daughter's age, etc.)? I am guessing this varies by parts of the country.

I just recently worked with a dancer who is 50 years old. She left one particular club for a few years but came back. A lot of customers who knew her missed her and was happy to see her back :D

Definitely interested in answers to this. I’m 37 and feel like I’m confronted daily with is it time to stop or not.

I’m 40

With me it’s difficult because I really do look young for my age. Face, skin and body…. I only feel old internally. Like I’m over it!

Customers like women who make them feel good in some way. As long as the hiring manager lets you in the club doors, then the customers should be fine.

I am super baby faced, and I’m actually grateful I’m starting to “look” somewhat older. It makes things a lot easier to hold a conversation with men. (And get more money and stability from building regulars) I used to do a lot more “wanna dance” not because I couldn’t talk to customers, but because I was feeling more defensive against the creep customers who specifically target the teenagers.

Some of the most successful dancers I know in Salt Lake City are 50-55. One has had a lot of work done and another hasn't. The one who hasn't never partied, drank, smoke, etc and started her dancing career later (around 30). Her following is so strong she doesn't dance, she wears a cute costume and walks the parameter of the stage collecting cash and giving thanks. She hustles very well through text and chatting up guys on the floor but it's taken her years to build her clientele. Personally I am all for mature women (makes old dudes feel less creeper out) and I encourage all women to keep the hustle going regardless of age 🩷

I started back dancing when I was 35 and I continued till I was 50... I have a friend who's still in the business and she's 54... I thought about going back at my age at 63 cuz I am still physically fit but to actually put on a pair of high heels and work in them maybe somewhat of a challenge especially since I have vertigo and I don't see too good out of my one eye

There are ladies working in Vegas that are in their 60s and 70s but of course they have been doing it and that is their way of life keeping physically fit in order to be able to do it till that age plus they've also had a lot of plastic surgery on their face boobs stomach and ass they look good from afar but once you see them up close you can tell how much work they've had done.... More power to them for being able to withstand all the craziness that comes with that job...

I'm 38, 8 years in, took a year off and ready to get back to the grind. What are some good clubs to dance at? How's the season in Vegas right now?
