Peter Breggin, echoing Foucault and using the language of today, says that the reason Psychiatry was invented was to legitimate the incarceration of homeless people who are breaking no law.

In the heights of the 2020 COVID hysteria I said, “Gavin is trying to turn California into a 40 million bed Psychiatric Hospital!”
He was having daily COVID press conferences. He would walk in and make a big show out of taking off his Velcro rear closure mask. Then he would tell us about how he expects “orders for the Public Safety to be followed”, and so he wants people who don’t wear their masks to be cited. And then he would scold us because testing continues to show that there are more cases.
He was trying to make a new kind of society, one which is without viruses, The Republic of Hygienic Virtue, and he was to be the Supreme Being.
I said back then that unless you are seeking medical treatment, you should refuse COVID testing. All the testing does is fuel Gavin’s Gaslighting and Grandstanding.
And so now, what are the parameters of his new law?
1. Who does it apply to?
2. What triggers it?
3. What would constitute non-compliance?
4. And what are the penalties?
No matter what crime one is accused of, they are entitled to a jury trial, and they have the right to remain silent.
Some will go along with this because they have been conned, and so they believe that the therapist sitting in the arm chair across from them is actually on their side. And of course with those who are not paying for such treatment, and who are being forced to take part, the very worst is deployed.
And then with the Psychiatric Neurotoxins, these have the same appeal as street drugs and alcohol.
We need to remove Newsom from office and the Democratic Party must right now find someone better to run.
And everyone needs to find ways to fight back at the personal and the community level.

I think we have been negligent. And by we I mean the entire society. We have let ourselves be cast into this position of "Oh I have a problem, I need Recovery, I need Therapy." And of course this leads directly into Lobotomy, Electro Shock, Transcranial Magnet, and Drugging.
I think we need to back up some and go back to what was learned from R. D. Laing.
Attempting here to explain it myself, people do not have problems, mental illnesses, and they do not need recovery or treatment.
Rather they have lived in horrible dynamics and they probably continue to. Usually it is the family.
But one must never let this be case as needing Recovery, Therapy, or Treatment, as this puts it back onto the individual, makes it all into a self-improvement project.
Laing was coming from a perspective of existentialism, where there are not discrete objects or essences. Rather there is only existence and everything is in relation.
And so I listen to this Thomas Insel interview and he explains about a father looking for treatment and care for his son. What an absurd idea. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with the son, it is merely the preposterous situation which the son has been cast into by the parents.
And then Deleuze and Guattari say that the schizo is the one who cannot be oedipalized. That was in France in 1972. In America today it would be the one who cannot believe in therapy and recovery.
But the schizo is not a clinical schizophrenic. That would be what therapy, recovery, and the mental health system hammer the schizo into.

While there may be some interesting things there, it is all based on breaking down people's privacy so that they can be made subject to that Recovery, Therapy, Healing model. And that is extreme manipulation and abuse.
And it sounds like this Steinberg got prop 63 passed which really mushroomed this Youth Mental Health System.
