Turkeys that merit our thanks

The state legislature passed a law that prohibits strip-club patrons from touching strippers — or even looking at them after midnight. That immediately put an end to all lust, prostitution and illegal drug activity. It also induced exotic dancers to quit the business and return to their teaching careers. And every male in the Great State of Ohio is now home by 12:15....
The people responsible for the stripper law have not yet introduced a proposal requiring Ohio women to wear veils....
The people who brought us the stripper bill have not yet advocated the death penalty for streaking.
Well if it saves one life . . . or protects the neighborhood . . . or whatever.
I think generally people want condominium type freedom i.e. Bork freedom, freedom to control your neighbor via democracy . . .
