Is it worth it to become a registered PL with P411? What are the alternatives?
I save a good chunk of change by using a pre-paid cell phone plan. It seems like most escorts somehow have access to a list of cell phone numbers with the name of the customer. My phone number's not on the list, which I otherwise consider to be a good thing. But the escorts who use this list consider you suspicious if you can't give them a number that's on this list. I'm thinking P411 might be a way around this. On the other hand, maybe P411 will take my $100, then reject me for having a sketchy phone number.
Anybody know what happened to date-check? Worked for me until they ghosted. Unlike P411, date-check's fees were not so excessive.

^^^ for once CJ Kent makes sense.
A million years ago when other similar sites existed once you were able to see one or two “providers” who could “vouch” for you you’d get the green light on the site. Some newbie providers or established ones looking to pick up new clients would be willing to do this for a small extra fee.
Most of these sites have been shut down and these days I wouldn’t want my credentials floating out there somewhere.

This only matters if ilb's safety/security concerns are around "the authorities". If that isn't a real threat, and his main concern is prostitutes knowing his real name (from which it's trivial to find out his address and where he works), then the fact that p411 has to respond to subpoenas isn't really an issue. I'd be more worried about an ashleymadison style hack of p411s database, I suppose.
No idea whether escorts still take p411, I see it badmouthed sometimes

Many clients are very dangerous to sex workers, so I accept the need for screening. I accept the risk I could be "outed" as a PL, due to screening or in other ways. I don't see it as safer to be screened by third parties, including the person who asks to see your ID when you go to the club. An honorable cop who gets stuck working vice will go after scumbags they know are really victimizing people, but they don't have proof that's admissible in court. With the Derek Chauvin type cops, well, just gotta hope you don't cross paths with them. In any case, I give women $ if they offer me some of their time, and hope they will do nice things to make me want more of their time. So would be hard to convict me of anything.

I 100% agree with Sub's comments. In addition p411 is based out of Canada and prostitution is legal there. Thats a pretty low risk of any kind of legal action but internatinal hackers are the big threat to privacy.
p411 also has a nice screening process that makes it safer for sex workers to rate clients. This makes it much easier to book with new girls.
I was on that site many years ago when I was using escorts and found it to be safer than places like Eros or the infamous Backpage.

I was a member of P411 years ago. At the time, they just used the referral method to approve you. If you had 2 girls that could vouch for you then you were approved. I went years without being part of it and about a year ago they gave me a free membership for a few months. TI didn't really use the service but it was kind of fun to see what was in my area. The prices had gone up a lot in the last 5 years.

I think f2f first meetings are best, like a strip club or an AMP or something, but not online ads.
You can still be on some approved list, but that f2f first meeting I think is crucial.

I believe P411 is based in Canada so I do not think one has to worry. I have been a member for years and P411 has got me hooked up girls I probably would not have been able to any other way.
