TJ Trip Notes 2021
booji boy
So I made my long-awaited trip to TJ recently, and it was one of my most successful in a long time. Out of the seven BGs I bumped uglies with, five were GFEs and I had multiple sessions with two of them. I decided on arrival that I was going to be picky this time while still spending freely and it really paid off. My only regret was that my itinerary forced me into staying there over the weekend as opposed to during the week. As others have reported, HK is a total zoo on weekend nights and that really sucks.
I decided not to bother with reviews of the individual clubs this time because they're getting to be too much like Dear Penthouse. I'm going to share general info here and if you want a play-by-play then maybe I'll share it over beers down there someday (lo siento).
Travelling: This trip was part of a larger trip in Mexico, and I flew in to TIJ airport instead of walking across at San Ysidro. Flying in to MX is basically the same as pre-Covid. The only difference is you have to fill in a simple questionnaire online beforehand to attest that you don't have any Covid symptoms. If you don't do this, don't worry, they have paper forms at the airports that you can fill out instead. Having your FMM filled out online ahead of time makes entry a breeze -- the customs guy just scanned it, stamped it, and tore off the exit half. Took 5 minutes, plus 5 minutes in line. The taxi ride to the ZN is still $18 and no fuss.
Zona Norte: The area seemed about the same as my last trip at the beginning of last year. Slightly more LE presence and overall mellow. Almost all the locals mask up, which I appreciated. Don't expect to get in any doors unless you have one, so make sure you bring a supply.
Cascadas: You will need to have your mask on at both entrances. They are still doing a bag search when you arrive, and it isn't a big deal. As far as the metal detector goes, if you've got the shit out of your pockets and ready to drop in the little tupperware box when you get to it, it's painless. They will also do a quick pat down. This will happen every single time. Interestingly, they now have a dedicated check in desk at the north (main) lobby, which should make it a little easier to check in if you arrive at night (It's behind the other lobby). There's also some kind of reno work going on at the south end of the building so if your room is there will be extra noise.
Hong Kong: Many others have described the changes in the club and I have nothing to add there. Unfortunately for me, I was there for Friday/Saturday and the crowding at the bar at night was a major annoyance. I didn't notice it clearing up until 3am both nights. I did start taking advantage of the fact that there's a passthrough to Chavelas, which kinda makes it an express route to the other end of the bar. It was also funny to see a long line to get into HK when there was none at LC. I'm guessing that will even out soon enough, but for now take advantage of the fact that they're connected and skip the line. Note too that they don't seem to be giving out wristbands when you check in upstairs -- you have to remember to ask for one once it gets dark to avoid paying the cover to get into the club.
Adelitas: No walk-through metal detector, but you do get wanded. They put up a big and fancy new sign up on the front facade, but nothing else seemed different to me. They're advertising that they refreshed their rooms, but until they get an elevator I'm not too interested. I did not come across the fabled South American invasion here, but then I wasn't looking too hard either. I did come across one bubbly cutie whose first offer was actually $80, so I coudn't pass that up. They still exist, but $100 is now the norm and that isn't going to change.
Chicago Club: Only a pat down here, not even a wanding. Of the three, I had the least luck here this time. They have a new ATM there that is configured to withdraw US dollars up to USD$500 now, and the service fees added up to about 12% for me when I tried it. That's about on par with what you'd get at a regular exchange place so I hope that stays.
Smaller Clubs and Tropical Bar: The small clubs look like they're suffering bad, with only a few BGs in each who looked like they had a lot of water under their bridges. I'm guessing that the only thing that's keeping them alive at this point is bar revenue from the locals. I did make one stop at TB, and I have to say that I still don't get that place and I don't feel the need to try and figure it out.
As always, comments and questions welcome and I'll try and answer anything from those who aren't already on my "block" list. :-)

I have had good times/luck at BT lately, but that is primarily because my favorite mesero, Rubin, has been picking girls for me. Usually I do my own hunting, but he has been battling 800+ lately. I typically tip him $10 or so when he picks a winner.
Was in CC last Saturday and Sunday. I know what you mean regarding the girls quality. I did find one winner, Ursula. She was a 7+ and had a good attitude. Spoke passable English. Was a little tipsy, but fun. The associated hotel sucks.
This weekend it seemed that in all the clubs except HK there were more girls than mongers.
Will write a review of my experience at D&G in the next few days.
Yes, you can cross back into San Ysidro, but you have to weigh the time/effort to do that against the ability to get cash on the spot. 12% isn't unreasonable IMO compared against hitting a Mexican bank ATM (service charge and currency conversion fee there, usually about 8%) to get pesos and then either negotiating with same or converting to USD. I mentioned it as an option for those like me who don't care much about the fees. On the subject of risk, using an ATM from a branded bank in MX is safe (I've never encountered an issue there and I know how to spot skimmers), and the ATMs at HK and CC are clean in my experience.
What is the wristband for? If you're staying at Cascadas you don't pay a cover at HK?
USD is the norm for gringos like us. Using pesos is OK obviously but you need to be fully aware of the exchange rate.
That's exactly it. If you don't have a wristband, it a $5 cover to get in.
No nonstops, sadly. You connect in Mexico City.
Ignore the question if it's personal stuff.

You probably hit a service or something...
Thanks for posting about your trip. With your girls, did you allow for some preliminary fraternizing, for your initial makeout session, before going arriba? And of course giving them money as this is happening?
Did you session with any Street Girls, and find a way to have that preliminary makeout session with them, like maybe in La Gloria?
Which club has the most stage side action, like DFKing and DATYing?
In which do the girls were the most slutty outfits, I mean action uniforms, don't need to be taken off.

Did you take any girls to eat? What was the longest amount of time that you stayed with any one girl?
Exchange contact info, plan to see any again?
All said and done, and given that in principle the hometown girls could do anything the TJ girls could, was the trip worth it, or would it be better to set up a local girl for regular visits?
Thanks,
SJG

As far as Tropical, my initial allure was to dance with the Chicas. They occasionally play salsa and bachata. And i like to dance that shit. Albeit they not very good. But still fun. A few time the BG wouldn’t or couldn’t go arriba, for whatever reason. On this last trip, had a great 8 arriba. And a good solid 7. But i find myself staying away more and more.
Also, bro $18 for cab? $5 dolla! Maybe $6 including tip

What I'm saying is ... we should encourage this road trip as much as possible.
Founder needs to add a new forum called Bitching About Trolls or something... :-)
