Pokers Tournaments

They never tell you what you need to know.
I played in my first live poker tournament last week in a year and a half. In 4 states that I frequently travel through, as of this week I only know of one casino that has tournaments, and they’re only twice a week during week days, starting before noon.

I hope to see more tournaments start up this fall.

Vegas tourneys hopping again and they are regularly busting through gsurentees. WSOP events run Oct-Nov. Florida Hard Rock casino tournaments have been big too.

@Mets I heard Borgota switched to cash only and dropped the tournaments. Is that just a rumor or maybe that was just temporary? Its a great place to play and a beautiful casino.

I know for a fact many casinos are thrilled they don’t have to screw with tournaments but once fall hits and everything (hopefully) fully normalizes they may be left with no choice but to offer them to get traffic through the door.

There are a lot of tournaments being offered in the Baltimore area right now but it’s hard for me to get over to that area. May make a weekend trip at the end of summer.

Red Rose in Austin has a poker tournament on Sunday day shift. Dancers have been known to play.
