3 Atlanta clubs changing jurisdiction.

Atlanta suburb
Under a new state law 3 clubs formerly in Fulton County have now been annexed by the city of South Fulton. The Clubs are Fannies, Ace of Clubs and Club Wax. I expect there will be changes and probably not good ones for strip club lovers.

Are there any existing clubs that have been operating in the City of South Fulton? If so, how are those clubs compared to the ones that are being annexed?

I'm no ATL expert but seems in the last few years it hasn't gone well for clubs that have gotten annexed - hopefully this time will be a different result

One wonders if the owners of Ace of Clubs knew this was coming and why they recently bought/moved-to Vivide

I don’t think there were currently any other strip clubs operating in City of South Fulton. I believe that Eye Candy (formerly Rocafella’s) was under the city’s jurisdiction when it was busted a few months before the pandemic. The city wants to make the area more appealing and get rid of a lot of the prostitution and crime in the area, so I’d expected to see major changes to the clubs.

At this rate, the hookers are going to have to troll the parking lot at Six Flags.

"Decided to hit Fib around 8:45 tonight and boy was it Hot Hot Hot but not SW action but LE action man they was all over the damn place. Saw one at the Chevron someone car was getting towed and saw 2 more at the Starship parking lot with lights on. I went around Fic one time didn't see nothing as expected. I went on Wendell LE on that side also and passed one going by the Fulton Inn. I did see a few BSW on Wendell tho and one WSW walking from the Fulton inn they all was tore up tho. I stayed in the area maybe 15 minutes then left cause LE was out in full force.

BTW the LE by the strip club side had different cars they was grey with black written on the side but the cars on the Wendell side was the regular black and white cars.

Seems LE really trying to clean that area now I even saw LE posted at the Citgo by MLK.

I think it's best too stay away from Fib right now cause LE out in full force"

I'm in a state where prostitution is legal. Sad it has recently been turning blue. I am blue politically, but nope red states notoriously have been a better strip club experience for moi

It really is sad! In Atlanta's case I'm not so sure it's a political thing. Check out the NextDoor app for Chamblee and you'll see the non-stop banter. I'm telling you these yuppie broads are so relentless. As if their child will be crippled for life and property values will dump if a single strip club exists in their area.
One one hand I miss Follies dearly but as a landloard, it doesn't get much better!

I miss Follies. :-(

Hit it on multiple business trips to the ATL and once when I missed a connecting flight and had to spend the night. There just wasn’t another club like it. Wish I had found out about it 10 years sooner.

Meanwhile Buckhead wants to secede from the city of Atlanta, how will the loss of revenue affect Atlanta ?

Buckhead becoming its own city could basically bankrupt Atlanta from my understanding. I saw a story a month or two ago that said Buckhead is just about 1/4 or less of the population of Atlanta but accounts for almost half of the tax revenue for Atlanta. That kind of loss would cripple a city budget.

But that kind of revenue from a small percentage of the population is a large part of why they want to leave and I don't blame them.

"... But that kind of revenue from a small percentage of the population is a large part of why they want to leave and I don't blame them ..."

From the reports I've seen the main complaint of Buckhead is increased-crime and the Dem mayor not supporting the police w.r.t. being more proactive about crime - from what I've heard one of the main-reasons Buckhead wants to secede is so they can create their own police dept

I don't think Buckhead will become it's own city because they are going to put a Mayor in place soon to address their wishes.

The tax issue is what drove all of the unincorporated Fulton County areas to incorporate as a half dozen or so cities in the last 20 years. People were tired of their taxes to the county going to support things that were in the city proper and getting little spent where they lived. But, no one has actually broken away from the city.

I don't have a dog in this fight but strip clubbing in the unincorporated areas around Atlanta were much better than than they are now under city controls.

The way the Dems seem intent on currently controlling every aspect of society whether cultural or political, I can see Buckhead having a hard-time breaking away with Dems in power at the local and national-level including control of the media - I can def see the claims of "racism" and "white privilege" being thrown towards Buckhead as this process intensifies - IDK enough about the situation to know how it will turn-out but I can def see it getting ugly since it seems currently everything that does not adhere to the current leftist-mantra gets ugly and they will go after you if you "don't stay in line with the current leftist woke mantra" and do as they say.
