even thou he was dying, he did battle the democrats to the end, his last shows where about blaming the democrats for the capitol riots , he was a prophet
To me, Rush was one of only two people with both the gift of deep analytical thought, and the ability to explain it in a way the average person can understand. The other is Mark Levin.
Interesting fact: As a teenager he attended college to please his parents, but dropped out after two semesters to build a career in radio. Obviously, formal education is not necessarily a measure of intelligence.
RIP Rush. America has lost one of its greatest defenders of freedom.
RIP Rush. He was an icon of conservative talk radio. He made it through some dark days of addiction and kept pushing forward. It was nice to see him receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
I’m not sure there is anyone ready or qualified to pick up his torch.
He was a fighter pre and post cancer - I think he got diagnosed about a year ago and he kept doing the show even going thru treatment (I assume chemo, etc) - in the last year he would often take days off the show recovering from his treatment but would always come back - I remember about two weeks ago he mentioned he was going back-in for treatment and would be back depending on his recovery - if I remember correctly he did not make it back - his last show was February 2nd.
Rush was a POS who mocked the deaths of many including denying smoking as a cause for lung cancer. I celebrated because the world is now a better place.
I used to love the show and he was an original who definitely changed the world but for a while now I’ve been thinking where did we stop being law abiding patriots and start letting subversives use our cause for freedom as an excuse for violence and rebellion? I blame trump and McConnell but maybe it started with rush? I think I’m done with republicans. Politicians and pundits, not people. More and more they are becoming what libs said they were. Power hungry racist authoritarian trolls. Dems too but I already knew that.

There are despicable and soulless commies who will celebrate this passing, but let that only underscore their lack of character.
RIP to an American icon.
