This is an article about the Hustler Club (now Dream Girls) just south of Detroit. I liked the club when it first opened in 2009. It had real doors on the VIP rooms for complete privacy. But nothing gold can stay.

last commentI think I read someplace that Larry Flynt had passed away recently and it didn't really register with me as I thought he had passed a long time ago.

How did I not know about dream girls? Jackslash is this in the vicinity of Flight Club and Landing Strip?

That club was definitely an anomaly. VIP's had doors, poles and TV's... one even had a private bathroom. Had a couple of great times there and a couple where I walked in and walked right back out in 5 minutes. Hope it survives and gets reincarnated as it is a good layout.

@ Shai: It's downriver right near the I-75 and Outer Drive exit; kinda have to look for it as it is not obvious:

I also had some great times at the Hustler Club when it still had real doors on VIP rooms. A dancer told me that the Corporate Office came for an inspection, saw the doors, and ordered them removed. The club was all downhill from there.
The place had some of the tallest stripper poles that I have ever seen.

Here's a copy of my review, pre-covid. The club was great when it first opened and then terrible for a while. It was showing signs of a resurrection. I'd love to see it functioning again.
