Former NBA player Ty Lawson banned from Chinese basketball league for life due to comment about Chinese women. I think we are way too sensitive nowadays. His comments weren’t that bad, lol.
China; like many other countries, tends to be conservative cultures when it comes to women.
Due to our very open American society, one can often say things many would find crass and not get push-back either due to the "freedom of speech" defense, or "hey you're just criticizing him b/c he's black" - but that doesn't fly in many other countries and why America has been a bad-ass country for most of its history (not perfect, but no country is).
Although one has to wonder if the CDP was just using it as an excuse to take it out on an American b/c of the current state of relations.
My experience with asian dancers in COI and OC was no "cakes on the low."
@tylawson should post a review of the SC with Chinese dancers with "cakes on the low" I am sure the TUSCL brethren in China (and those with Yellow Fever) would appreciate the Intel.
Purely political and silly. As a non-Chinese citizen and you censor your own comments to appease the Chinese government you volunteered to be a willing slave.
It seems crazy to ban a player for a comment, but it’s a comment made in China about Chinese women. It’s a very different world, and there is no freedom of speech.
what is more shocking? a man getting thrown out for complimenting the physical traits of a nation's women or that they actually have vip/lapdance rooms with mileage available?
god forbid he whipped it out for an assjob. what would have happened if a bouncer saw that? or better yet a CCP cop?
The statement he made was complimentary to Chinese women. He was saying how they have sweet booties.
What would have happened if he posted a derogatory statement - possibly saying they have flat asses?
Are women still considered less than men in China? I don’t know if that remains. There was a major issue when families were only allowed one child - as they would drown the baby if it was female.
" It was Nixon who started the whole USA China love story."
My first thought is don't get me started on Nixon. That's one of at least 3 things that i despise Nixon for. I lean to the right and many from the right liked Nixon, I'm not one of them.
Outside of normalizing relations with China, Nixon
1) Created the Environmental Protection Agency
2) Used the IRS against his political enemies
3) Comitted crimes to maintain power (Watergate and the cover up)
If that doesn’t sound like a Democrat, I dot know what does.
It’s no wonder that Bill Clinton delivered the eulogy at his funeral.

That notwithstanding, say what you will about me. Unlike you, I don’t fuck dogs.
