How to known when a scam comes your way?
Sgt2005
Hey gents I'm not here often but for the few time I seek outside advice I've received some good comments. So heres the question:
How do you know if you may or are being scammed from a companion? A recent example I have encountered is that she wants a deposit or full payment up front. Her donation is given by a steam card, Amazon cards, Visa gift card, ect. Then asks for a picture, front/back to do her verification process, whatever that means.
It sounds like a scam to me. Am I right? She may ask for a deposit and then the rest in cash. Why not all in cash. However, adult search has not always been the most credible so I am a bit skeptical. Thought suggest would be appreciated. One last thing, if you do send a Pic of the card can that provider take the funds off that card and transfer them else where?

I'd heavily lean towards you are being scammed. It is not impossible that a woman would have interest in Steam cards - women enjoy video games too - but do you really think a legit provider would want hundreds of dollars in Steam credit?
This is a scam. Move along my dude.
adult search never struck me as a trusted source. If she's got any public reviews (TER, PDs, P411, etc), then maybe read on those first.
By "provider", you're looking for an escort? Where are you looking currently?
As far as verifying their intentions or that they won't scam you, the only way to really get an idea is by checking their reviews IF they have any reviews from past clients. The rest really is on your gut.
A few girls offer a brief (like 5 minute) Facetime or Skype video chat to the guy if he's not too convinced she's the real deal, but not a lot of them do.
It's a see-saw of trust because a lot of girls ask for a deposit because they've been scammed or robbed by clients, and a number of girls will ask for a deposit... just to take it and disappear off the face of the Earth. All comes down to her presentation, how big her online presence is on ad pages or social media, and how she communicates with you before meeting.
If she's *really* aggressive about you fetching a card to make a deposit of whatever amount, that's usually a red flag.
Officer, Sargent, I will play along and answer your questions:

A ~ yes; some providers can and do.
IMHO and Limited experience Cash is King, I don’t want to leave some electronic footprint of my private relationship with a lady, you know for LEO to use against me.
@Eve’s advice on good sites and using Facetime or Skype video is spot on, during the texting conversation just ask:
“Do you think it’s a good idea to get a glimpse of each other before meeting, I asume we can Video Chat For a few seconds, right?”
If she says “no” it is up to you to take your chances, but chances are the pictures are not a true representation of the provider.
Sometimes you have to take one for the team, and take a chance, only use money you do not need, and will be ok with using it as payment for the life lesson, ie finding out if she is the real deal or not.
These are some steps/recommendations
1. Find and independent
2. Go to her place (in call),
3. Be ready to turn around and walk away if she is not of your liking or doesn't look like the pics (bait and switch).
4. Is better if her incall is in a high end neighborhood, less likely the police will mess with rich wealthy powerful influential celebrities, politician, business men etc. clients.
5. You have to look the part of a good customer, shower, shave, groom yourself, be well dressed, clean, clean, clean.
6. If you do run into the police, keep your mouth shut and ask to speak to your attorney and nothing else, chances are you won't even get arrested or cited, walk away.
I wrote an article about how I found my All Time Favorite woman in Beverly Hill, an early twenties Russian Blonde a 10 for sure.
We made love and when in the doggy position she she moved her right hand to push me back and my dick came out of her pussy at the same time she squirted, no like a stream, more like dumping a cup of liquid, got my feet really wet, I have never seen anything quite like it, not even in squirt porn.
She asked me how did you do that?, I did not answer, because I don't even know, I just went back in and gave her everything I had.
I was sweating rivers myself, I had to get a towel to dry myself, and went back in with all my heart and soul, she dumped two more cups of her pussy juice, and keep asking me how are you doing this? But I did not answer, because I don't know.
I stopped because I came, I was exhausted and she looked exhausted too but I was as happy as one can be.
I believe it was just the right place the right time type of situation.
It was one of the most incredible, surprising, amazing sexual experience I have had in my entire existence.
Thank you for making me remember and enjoy the memories.

Kenny Rogers, the gambler, taught me that wins and losses are part of life and the “hobby”, I am still learning to follow his advice...

The best way to keep from getting scammed is to act like youre pursuing a prolonged business arrangement.
In person you can always play a hoe.
You only exchange cash with a provider.
If anything seems off - end it.
