Drive through strip club (tent)

I saw a video clip about the "lucky devil lounge" in portland offering drive through. It's a tent and you order food on the outside, before your enter. The tent had stages on both sides and a DJ and it's closed off while you're inside. They deliver your food, that means the kitchen gets to stay open, and you stay and pay for a couple sets. I wonder what the business end of this looks like? I would support this. Especially to support business and get a little 'stimulation'.

You'd probably be expected to tip the girls and probably not allowed to get close to them - if not charged some kinda significant extra fee

At this stage in my PL career I'm not interested in a half-ass strip club experience

Is this the same guy who had girls delivering food from the club in revealing outfits. Early on in the shutdown I read the story, they called the service boober-eats and I'm sure they were on Portland also.

Can you link that video clip? I'm kinda interested in the set up.

It sounds like nobody will be getting "lucky" in Lucky Devil Lounge.

I respect the hustle but it does not sound like worth the time or money.

I also understand trying to support the clubs so when the country opens back up for business, there will be strip clubs to go to.

Really though, most of the alternatives offered are pretty lame and offer little to no entertainment value.

I think there was a drive thru type strip club somewhere in Pennsylvania, rural area, where a girl would come to a window for a few minutes and dance. Does not sound very interesting to me.

The drive through sounds ok I guess (depending on the cost)once I saw the youtube clip. I mean people go to the bikini barista stuff all the time. Some of the cars get a roll of tp and you while you wait at least there is dancing. I mean the food better be good though. I would try it most likely although it would never work in az with our heat.

The boober eats idea sounds awful to me. I think it was a 30 dollar delivery fee. Of course a bouncer shows up to your door as well and they just drop off your food. I wouldn't want (most) dancers to know where I live, much less bouncers. I would definitely not do this option even if it were dancers from my favorite club and I could request certain ones. (Wouldn't want the nosy neighbors to know either)

Plus what if something in the order isn't delivered correctly. With the drive through technically wouldn't be so bad to go back (and I'm sure you go order something for less than 30 bucks).

But yeah papi and Cristobal are correct. When I was saying I'd try the drive through if offered (say when the weather was nice); I'm not saying I'd be looking to spend a lot or make it a major part of my evening/weekend. So still pretty lame/half asses and not sustainable as a permanent basis.

Its the same club (Lucky Devil Lounge) doing this drive thru food pick up that is also offering "Boober Eats" although he cant call it that anymore because he got a cease and desist letter from "Uber Eats". The food delivery is $50 minimum order plus the $30 delivery fee and you request which 2 dancers you want to deliver it. Not sure what the charges or minimums are for the drive thru. They are not making a lot of money but it is a way for the dancers to have some kind of income. Most of them cross promote and sell content online as well. There are quite a few hot dancers that work there, but you have to like women with tattoos.
If I was in Portland I would try it. The food at Lucky Devil is actually pretty good. But Im one who also likes all the bikini barista coffee stands in the NW.

Thanks for the info 501. Wow 80 bucks minimum for the home delivery. I can see how it could work (a large group of friends, the club is not going to report them for a large gathering ), but I wouldn't do it at all to my house. Oh and on a side note, I do like dancers with tattoos (and without them haha) so that would not be a problem for me.

It certainly is creative. And free roll of TP is a nice touch.

"... Wow 80 bucks minimum for the home delivery. I can see how it could work ..."

I don't see how that works in a good way - paying 80-bucks just to have 2 scantily dressed chicks walk up, drop off the food, and leave - not to mention the PL will probably get hit up for extra-tips - maybe it can be some kind of a novelty for some dudes that rarely step foot in a strip-club, but IMO seems like very little ROI for regular SCers.

@nj_pete:. The place you are thinking of was the Climax Lounge which was on Rte 30 just east of Pittsburgh. Besides the drive through, they also had an outdoor nude pool (with tall walls around it, lol).

Be funny if one of you actually suggested asking a civilian woman out on a date; lmao.

I really don't see the food delivery as a good option or value. Only way it works in my mind is if a group of say 10 all orders/gets food. But yeah 80 bucks and then I'm sure they would hustle for tips on top of that. (8 bucks a piece without extra tip-club would probably hustle for another 20 bucks).
I certainly wouldn't want to have them visit my house (with a bouncer). I could just see it here's your food, tip extra we are in need right now ok bye. No thanks.

But the drive through, again depending on price/upcharge/food etc, I'd probably try that in a place with nice weather. I hope they send cars through one at a time though with some kind of organization. Not because I want to take social distancing to the extreme, but because it would be my luck that the person behind my car would not be paying attention (to the drive through actual line but other things) and run into me.

I went to Lucky Devil Lounge during my very brief tour of Portland clubs. There were only a couple of clubs I made it a point to see, so the others were just added based location. The club was middle of the road, decent talent and very high energy on stage. That was biggest thing I noticed about the Portland clubs were the dancers consistently put in effort during their sets. Even the trash clubs had a decent show going on stage.

I would check out the tent drive thru just to check it out. If they have any kind of reliable stage set up the show should be interesting. I'm sure I've seen worse then they'll have on offer there. After 500+ clubs seen my worst visits are really, really bad. And if they're all somehow fug at the time I drove thru I'd have a rental car to keep them at bay.

Sorry! My original post was in error. The Climax Lounge was actually on Rte 22 in Congruity PA, not Rte 30. 22 and 30 run together for a while, but split before Congruity and I misremembered.
