What are the dancers doing for work now?

Very few of my local club's girls danced full time, There were a few girls working as CNAs or LPNs , so I am sure they are working 40 hrs plus, The ones that worked at vape shops are out of work, I saw one on SA but I would say she was there before the quarantine.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re selling pussy.

Definitely a benefit for guys living in a metro area instead of being stuck out in the middle of nowhere that doesn’t have any strip clubs.

I think the stimulus actually covers them (and porn stars and legal brothel workers); certainly the ones that filed any taxes. But even the ones that didn't, i believe can still get that $600 a week for the next 4 months...

Does anybody know specifics of how strippers can get unemployment and the 12 benjy stimulus check?

Seems like a gamble to file now if you don't normally. I have heard that the IRS mostly relies on scare tactics, they don't have near enough auditors to go after all the suspicious cases.

Lots of dancers get food stamps and Medicaid. I read the guv was thinking about distributing money to people who don't file taxes through these programs, but I've seen no reports that they really did it.

I've noticed a number of dancers starting up and/or heavily promoting OnlyFans and similar accounts to try to make up some lost income.

Not many dancers even file tax returns and report their income.

I wonder how it works for those dancers. I'm guessing since the bill was written so quickly they can still take advantage of unemployment since it pays out based on your income.

In the past self-employed people have not been eligible for unemployment benefits. But I think the stimulus bill that just passed changed that.

A dancer I know got a visit from child welfare after her BD got busted for something or other. She just said she has a boyfriend who supports her, and they were cool with that. So that might be a safe way for dancers to call up the unemployment office or the food stamps or Medicaid office and ask if they are eligible for help. Say you had a BF who was helping you out but he lost his job.

The smart dancers have a side job and pay taxes on it, for lots of good reasons. It’s a way to justify your lifestyle to the IRS. It makes it easier to hide your stripping job from family. It makes the transition out of stripping easier, when ready. And, now, it qualifies you for unemployment.

Strippers that are legit college students don’t have time for a side job.
