Media fear mongering is more dangerous than the virus

Due to media fear mongering...
I believe certain corporations and the media have promoted panic buying so that some can bank off of the virus.
Politicians have become complacent to pandering to said fears.
People have become complacent to having the government strip them of their rights and livelihoods due to fear mongering.
People have become complacent to accept losing their jobs. Waste their savings if they have any. And where protections for the lockdown exist....to end up in debt due to back rent and back utility payments when the paranoia subsides. The government should financially help Americans to avoid this.
Pundits have admitted the stock market will bounce back when the panic subsides. We are also told that the biggest "danger" are individuals who carry the virus but have no or mild symptoms. That theyre the majority of carriers. So basically most people with it are fine and build up immunity to the strain.
The deaths are due to peoples overall poor health and susceptability to pneumonia and sepsis. These people should get help and should take extra precautions. But this hysteria is out if hand.
