Syracuse NY club advice

I am taking a trip to Syracuse NY at the end of August, and am staying in an apartment on Salina street. It looks like there are 4 clubs in walking distance of where I am staying.
I will be in town 4 nights, which includes the weekend.
I have read the local club reviews, but am hoping to get advice on where to visit. I love a good lapdance, but I am also pretty intrigued by the atmosphere of a club that serves booze, as the laws in my state don't allow for it at all.
Also, any discussion of neighborhood safety, and strip club protocol in NY that might be different from the Northwest would also be appreciated. Thanks!
