Police Athletic Leagues ??

money was invented for handing to women, but buying dances is a chump's game

Anyone have any strong feelings about these? Personally involved in one? I have not been involved in one?

Any criticism?

Here in San Jose they are calling it Police Activities League.

Many believe that these play a big role in keeping kids from getting into trouble with the law.

It is good that this is tied to the police, rather than say Parks and Recs, or the Schools?

Is there a down side to it, written criticism?

I do not have well formed opinions, so this is why I am asking.
