From the way he/she talks, I have always got the impression he/she an over privileged white kid that has a black friend just as over privileged, but is as close to the hood as he/she is comfortable getting. I remember a conversation that suggested white old people needed to say what up bro bro to trick people to think they grew up in the hood when visiting a strip club in a bad area.
