I've written 34 reviews here. 32 of them were approved quickly without incident. All of a sudden, though, I can't seem to get one approved. I wrote one about 3 days ago, and one about an hour or so ago. I don't think my writing style has changed. What gives?
Favorites Magenta and Malice are back -- both very athletic and artistic pole dancers, smart and affectionate lap dancers. Both 10s in my book.
Another favorite, the cook, is back -- new menu but same great quality food. Wish lap dances were $20 instead of $25, but wishing won't get me anywhere. Drink prices are the best in RI. Still too many young beginners, and there are few more chubby girls than in the past, but overall hotness factor is high.
This is a friendly, clean club. You'll be treated well. Girls are cheerful and approachable.
Does every reviewer have to go over the same stuff ad infinitum? Personally I don't really care if the stage is to the left of me or the right of me when I enter. Perhaps I've written so many reviews of the same clubs that I just write about what's different or interesting instead of being comprehensive.
Honestly, I would have rejected it too. It was too generic - you could have written that based upon a 10 second stop in a day or a month ago or even never if anyone else posted the same information in a previous review or on their website.
If that had even a couple of sentences about the specifics of your visit, like maybe a little more granular detail about the makeup of the crew on shift when you were there, or how the dish was that you ordered, or how your LD was, or SOMETHING, ANYTHING that didn't read like generic ad copy, you probably would have had that approved. Fuck, how about whether you paid a cover and/or what you paid for a drink?
Anyway, just my two cents. Seriously man, it's not like it takes a masterpiece to get a review published around here. Just cook it a little more before serving it.
Personally I don’t mind these types of reviews. Short and sweet. When I see a 15 paragraph manifesto, It can be a chore to read all of it. But how can you not approve something that somebody put that much work into?
Ok, I guess I've gotten a little lazy. I'd honestly prefer to write and even to read short things about a club or club experience, much as is typical on stripclublist (though without the horrible trolling), instead of a full-fledged review every time. For those of us who frequent the same half-dozen clubs or so all the time it feels repetitive to be comprehensive with every entry.
It’s kind of a marginal review in my opinion. I probably wouldn’t have rejected it, but I wouldn’t have approved it either. I usually pass on marginal reviews if I don’t know the club and let those who are familiar with the club vote it up or down.
I say it’s marginal because it’s pretty short, not necessarily a bad thing, but I scanned some of other reviews and most were a bit longer. One thing that irks me is where you say drink prices are the best in RI, but don’t say what they are. We don’t all live in RI, so that is a pretty meaningless statement. It also makes one suspect a club ad, as does the statement that there were two 10s there. Maybe they were, but some (including me) don’t really believe in 10s, so makes it a bit suspect.
To sum up, a little more detail, especially on prices when you say they are good and it would probably be approved.
Loper just do what they say. Add more details and you should be fine. It’s really not that hard. When you see a paragraph long review it’s just an easy target to get rejected. I bet you most rejectors didn’t even read it. Make it look like you put some effort in. That’s really it.
It should only take 3 to 5 sentences to describe the minimum basics of costs (cover, dances, VIP if u know it); typical mileage; description of dancer crew; and drink costs - then get into what you wanna say.
I'd be on the fence about it, but it had enough for me to look for other reviews to decide on whether to visit. If I downvoted it, the reason would be as a standalone review I didn't get an impresssion one way or the other.
"Favorites Magenta and Malice are back -- both very athletic and artistic pole dancers, smart and affectionate lap dancers. Both 10s in my book."
-You could describe these two dancers more. A 10 is relative from person to person. What exactly makes these dancers so special other than being athletic? What exactly entails an "affectionate lap dance" at this club? Do they grab your dick? Do they let you touch their boobs? Do they kiss you?
-How many dancers were on the shift? What level of contact is allowed at the stage? What level of contact is permitted during private dances? How private are the lap dances? Are there bouncers that keep a close eye during lap dances? Are there VIP rooms? Did you have to pay a cover to get in? Can I smoke inside or do I have to go outside? There are lots of things you could add to describe the club better and help a fellow clubber that is looking at visiting this club.

-What food items are the best to try here? You say drink prices are the best, but what are the prices for a beer or cocktail? Is there a Happy Hour at the club? What are the names of the chubby girls that we may want to be on the lookout to avoid? Are there discounts on the lap dance price if you buy several at a time? Do you have any tips or tricks that you could recommend to fellow clubbers to maximize their mileage at this club? These are all things that can be added to make your review more useful.

-This is super generic and can be said of most clubs. Honestly, you sound like a manager pumping up your club here. This is why minnow called it a shill review.
Other things that I like to see are: did you get dances with anyone? How many? What is/was the mileage like? How long were you there? From what time to what time? Music volume level? Smokiness? Drink service speed? There are tons of things you could report on that would make a review useful.
Any review that is only a couple sentences smacks of laziness and someone who just wants a free month but isn’t ready to put in any effort. Reviewing the same club Over and over but not adding any new information doesn’t do any of the readers any good. I probably would have rejected it on “thinness of details” reasons.
The point of a review is to inform other TUSClers. That can't be done in just a few sentences.
Write a review to inform another member of the details (dancers, club appearance, size, layout, cost, etc), what you experienced and thought of the club .
Without even knowing the person that wrote the review, a comment such as "I'll be sure to return." in combination with the details can tell the reader if he might enjoy the club as well.
11:24 AM California time. I had my latest review submission rejected. dang. you guys are getting really picky... I included the cover charge and the restroom the location. :(

- prices
- description of the dancer crew (not just Bambi is awesome, etc)
- mileage

IMO reviews should be written from the POV of someone who's never been to the club.
