This one may be controversial, but most schools in California teach every student Arabic Numerals and have even since before 9/11. Thoughts?
Should Arabic numerals be taught in US schools?

haha
They're actually Indian numbers. They're just called Arabic numbers because Europeans learned them from the Arabs.
Actually, shouldn't we change their name to Universal numbers or Common numbers so no one is offended like BC, AD and GMT have been changed to BCE, CE and UTC?
Political trolling. Best to ignore.
Aw, c'mon. Arabic numbers are for wimps!
Real men type:
XVMMDLXXVII
Pasted too soon, lol
Real men write:
__ XLIII * CDIX = XVMMDLXXVII
Aaarrrrgh!
___
XLIII * CDIX = XVMMDLXXVII
No wonder we don't use this shit. ;-)
Nothing controversial about this post at all. It's just incredibly idiotic. Dude, you got too much fucking time on your hands.
One more attempt to line up the bar:
___
XLIII * CDIX = XVMMDLXXVII
I give up,!
Never!

If the OP is supposed to be a joke I don't get it
I haven't even used algebra since I graduated high school.
Troll x 12. GFO
Apparently over 50 percent of Americans in a recent poll felt Arabic Numerals shouldn't be taught in school.
People are dumb
I think VEEP has this covered:
Freedom Numbers
Roman numerals don't have a zero. All mathematics is based on using Arabic numerals, they go at least back to the middle ages.
