The most valuable things in life are not measured in monetary terms.

^ I’ve won every case I’ve ever been involved in , do you think I have a good lawyer;)

When the lawyers have used me as an expert witness, they have always won their case. Does that make me a good expert?

When I give people in need a free place to live and a free car to get them around, does that count even those it involves the shit Bertrand excluded?

    Even though....
  • Btw I meant 2 say happiness is measured in terms of how many debates you dominate ( I.g .how many federal cases u win, Senate races , etc)

    I couldn't understand what @25 was responding to so I unblocked @Nicole.

    Mistake.

It just confirmed my decision to block her. Back she goes.

@nicole. So, why can’t you define happiness in the present instead of waiting on the future which may never come?
  • @njdan bc it was a complete joke

However my old self would not have been joking about that ..and to ur comment would say that its not not necessarily the results themselves that would bring happiness but rather wht they represent (being the best in the game )
  • Old self would also say that happiness is not.possible without being the best..cuz that's what I used to define it

Now I just care about doing my best .but by that I don't just mean do what I want lol I mean literally doing everything I possibly can to win

If I kmow I did 100% everything within my abiliites , I'll be happy. But I have to do 100% to b happy sorry lol

Nicole, settling cases without having to go to trial is a better measure of an attorney than "winning" cases. A good lawyer protects their clients' privacy and wallets, and taxpayers' money...Judges hate having to go to trial for cases that could have easily been settled. That's what the whole Discovery process is for, in theory....or just make the other guy go broke and have to settle lulz.
  • Dude every pre law student who is ambitious enough to have dreamed about rubbing shoulders with federal judges has also dreamed about winning federal cases because our goal is to fucking shape precedent .

    K
Take your ass somewhere else. We have different goals, so your comment was irrelevant ....
  • Nothing wrong with having different goals tho
  • And I didn't mean my literally goal was to shape precedent cuz being able to do that is subject to so many things out of my control ...but my point was that is like a huge dream of mine...and my initial comment that u responded was based on that dream

The majority of cases that set precedents do so by accident.
