attorney Scott Berghold must have skeletons

could somebody please investigate scumbag attorney Scott Berghold?

he's the a-hole that created the city ordinance that most municipalities are using to ban nude dancing and shut down strip clubs.

Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Doraville, Georgia strip clubs as well as Tokyo Valentino adult novelty.

there's bound to be some skeletons in this man's closet.

Seems to be a trend around the country that many cities do not want strip clubs - seems cities with good strip clubs are fewer and fewer in #.

I often wonder if strip clubs set up shop in mainly out-of-sight industrial areas if they would be left more alone in many cases.

Unfortunately I think the gay community has a better chance of stopping him than the strip club community does. Most mongers do not want the publicity that would go along with fighting him.

Papi, in Atlanta, the Pink Pony was there before Brookhaven was a city, and the neighborhood improved over the years, thus disproving Bergthold's theory that strip clubs decrease property values.
Cheshire bridge rd used to be zoned industrial and most strip clubs and gay bars did business there.
Now, the area is hot and been rezoned for mixed use. So property values are improving there too.

^ I see your point - but it seems when an area starts improving or is being eyed for redevelopment, seems the powers to be all of a sudden have an issue with the clubs

^ Really depends on who stands to profit and what the revenue strategy is for the most powerful player, if he gets no traction he will just move on.

One would think a strip club does not add to the property values and probably takes away - I would assume many developers wanting to do multi-million dollar developments will often want nearby SCs gone

When Brookhaven was considering become a city, they included the pink pony as a source of city revenue in their study.
Bergthold was retained by an interim official not authorized to hire him, and yet they continued to pass the ordinance.
The cheetah started out in a rundown area of midtown, and now the development around the club has made that property highly valuable.
A smart developer would find a way of building on top of the cheetah/ or retrofitting the cheetah into their new tower.
