I have friends who are atheists. And while they don't believe in God, they do believe in history and culture. They appreciate that this is a significant tragedy even if they lack the beliefs of those who worshipped at Notre Dame. It's not a binary thing.
I don't think of myself as atheist, but I'm not churchy and often more of a critic of organized religion than a fan. Even so, I'm saddened by the cultural loss at Notre Dame.
Personal opinion... if you're a devout Christian and spending a lot of time in strip clubs (and on this site), then that's likely a greater source of hypocrisy as compared to an atheist feeling badly over the burning of Notre Dame.
But I'll commend you on your complex moral contortions...
