Detriot clubs

What is up with no athletic pants in detriots landing strip? Have to have collared shirt and slacks? They damn strip clubs not business meeting. That sucks because of that they both off my list. A big reason i don't go to lexington ky clubs anymore. Such a waste.

I like to wear athletic pants and be comfortable. Follies and diamond dolls are cool with it though

Not all the clubs require a shirt with a collar.

I have some very thin black dress slacks that are soft as pajamas. I think I got them at Kohls. Get some that are pleaded so they have extra room. Just as comfortable as sweat pants. Only negative is I have to get them dry cleaned.

I agree that the dress code is annoying at some of the higher end Detroit clubs (Flight Club, Coliseum, Landing Strip (evenings, not days). Some of these clubs are OK with athletic gear during the day.

On my dayshift visit to Flight Club a few years ago I wore my black lounge pants and didn't have issues (wore them with a nice collared polo shirt) - they're black with pockets so are not as athletic-looking and are very thin, very soft, stretchy fabric with an elastic waistband - in the years I've wore them I only had an issue once bc they don't have a zipper - they are very comfortable:

At Spearmint Rhino West Palm Beach I was denied entry on nightshift bc of my zipperless lounge pants - doorman was standing outside as I was waking up to the entrance he said I couldn't wear those pants - I told him I saw a guy in front of me go in with shorts - he said cargo shorts were allowed but not the pants I was wearing.

I'll just wait and go to tj. Just one of many reasons why u.s. clubs are a joke snd it's not a funny one

Countryman I think you would have been fine at some decent clubs in Detroit. I would have recommended Cricket, Subi's or BT's.

...no shorts though. We don't know what those are in Michigan.

Club owners don't want to to attract trashy looking customers. Clean up, look presentable. You're going to a club, not the gym.

If Applebees is fine with me wearing shorts or athletic pants, then a club where dancers are giving blowjobs should be fine with it too - wearing shorts or athletic pants does not mean one is not presentable - it's a strip-club where dancers are fucking and sucking, not a White House dinner.

Perhaps it’s a non-racist attempt to keep out the thug element??

just b/c a custy dresses down doesn't mean he's trashy and just b/c he dresses up doesn't mean he isn't trashy.

As long as a customer is not causing problems and is dressed decently enough to patronize a store or Starbucks, I think she should be able to patronize a titty-bar.
