A man was killed and three others wounded, including two security guards, in a shooting early Wednesday at a strip club in south suburban Harvey, police said.
The shooting began about 2:10 a.m. inside the Boogie Nights club in the 14700 block of South Wood Street and then moved outside, Harvey Police Chief Greg Thomas said in a statement. Two of the wounded were guards.
Outside the club, a 25-year-old man was fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Thomas said.
The wounded were taken to Metro South and Ingalls Memorial hospitals, he said. Their conditions were not released.
Thomas said additional details would be issued later Wednesday.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not offered details about the fatality.
Harvey police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating.
Yup -- we discussed Collusion, Corruption by the Cops and Mayor of Harvey. "Boogie Nights" is the current name of the infamous "Arnie's" (One of the wounded was the son of a Harvey Policeman.) Might be wise to take one's SC business away from Harvey and Markham.
