Wine / Liquor Searcher

They never tell you what you need to know.

So from time to time we talk about alcohol on here. I found something new (well new to me at least) and wanted to share. I have trouble getting some limited releases on liquor, and if one of 3 local places for me actually has them, they charge rape prices.

I stumbled onto an app called "wine-searcher" for Apple (not sure if they have it for Android). This app will search for your item, then show you which liquor stores around the country will ship to you (if your state allows it) and who has the cheapest price.

If you're willing to pay, just about every item I could dream of was on there for sale. All the Pappys (at crazy prices) but I found stuff that's in my area for $100 on this app for $50... pretty amazing for us that live in smaller towns across the country.

I've really been into Jeffersons Bourbon / Whiskey lately and they have a lot of limited releases I can't find locally or even in the large metro area an hour away from me.
