It annoys me that "trans" people refer to the rest of us as "cis-sexual" (remember "cis" from chemistry? It means on the same side). Like the 99.999% of us simply chose to be the same sex we were born with.

Your daughter's friend will likely go one of three directions:

1. If she is pretending to be "trans" as a fad, than she will probably stop identifying as "trans" once it goes out of style the same way a person drops certain clothes once they go out of style.

2. If she is pretending to be "trans" but finds out that she really likes the attention it draws without her having to deal with the cons of being actually "trans," than she will likely keep the facade going as long as possible until she wants to identify as "CIS" because it will help her get a boyfriend or a job. She will be a very annoying person.

3. She actually has Gender Identity Disorder, in which case her future happiness will depend on how convincingly she can physically pass as a man in the eyes of society. I don't envy her.

this idea hasn't gone over well with women, but I think on Trump's last day in office, January 19th 2025 he should identify as a 100% black female. Obama was only 50% black, so Trump would be the first 100% black president. He'd be the first woman president, and he'd be the first trans president. Glass ceilings shattered all over the place.
