    I am very pro LGBTQ rights, but I agree that a private business should cater to whomever it pleases.

    It's clear they just hate this guy for being Christian and having his beliefs and not cow towing to the LGBTQ mob. What he should do is say I can make this cake, but the price is $5 Million paid in full, as its a very specific cake no one has ever heard of (a trans cake, GTFO).

    ^ I think you mean left wingers. In theory and in most cases, I agree that if the market doesn't like a business's practices, they can always give their business to someone else. The government gets its hands in too many things to make the playing field "fair". That's BS. If a business provides better value, it will eventually earn the rational consumer's business.

    I doubt that this baker really gives a shit one way or another about LBGTQ rights my bet is he’s looking for some free publicity and obviously getting it.

    I also feel that you should be free of government interference, in your ability to practice, and as an American you have the right to whatever beliefs you want, but this country has become full of intolerant assholes in both sides of the political spectrum, who confuse their right to their beliefs with their inane thinking that if some disagree, we will shut them down, seems to me that is the prevalent philosophy lately.

    @ime the current thinking is any publicity is good positive or negative, if it nets the person a profit. Who knows maybe he’s making a fortune selling to the anti’s.

    @25 seems like he has plenty of people wanting his cakes i dont think he is trying to drum up business. Why would you want a cake from him anyway if you know its not something he wants to make? Why support his business ehen there are probably tons of other cake makers glad to make you a tranny cake.

    Fine by me but reading the article, says he’s getting orders for cakes from as far away as Maine and Georgia, how in the hell would they know about a bakery in Colorado without the publicity.

    I’m guessing people are ordering cakes from him just to cause controversy. Others are ordering solely because they support his cause/opinion/value.

    Clearly some retarded Colorado liberals want to continue to harass this poor soul as part of the liberal war on Christians. Of course, the liberal establishment is butthurt over the SCOTUS ruling. So they will continue to allow and entertain as many frivolous and harassing claims against these bakers as brain dead liberals can file.

    How is it any different from a resturant refusing to serve Republicans? Policital affiliation is a choice just like how some people choose to not identify with their gender. The bigger question is why would someone want them to bake a cake for a transgender, are they the only fucking bakery in the state? No, it was done to either force them to comply, or with a hope they wouldn't so they could bring about another lawsuit.

    Liberals, progressives, socialists, communists are all one and the same and with focus on killing indendent thought and strangling individual achievement with the unwavering intent of destroying the United States of America. They cannot tolerate a baker that stands his ground on the conviction of his moral beliefs. They are entirely intolerant of dissenting opinion.
