With the big brains and big heads, and needing to be born immature, hairless apes represent the end of mammalian evolution. And there was a high nutritional requirement. Only with learning to use fire were hairless apes able to survive.
Apes had lived in trees. But then they lost their hair and took to the ground, living in caves and using animal skins and fires to keep warm. And a fire near the cave entrance protected the occupants from being turned into cat food.
TLNE takes us back to shamanism and that cave dwelling state.

But the big question which remains is, are the hairless apes going to live more like chimpanzees, or more like bonobos?

A curious note, earlier I visited a library branch in another part of town. I saw a librarian I remember from about 25 years ago. Back then she was a really cute girl whom I took notice of. But time takes a toll. And now she is wearing a wedding ring. Her face looks much harsher, and she has gained lots of lower body weight. Her temperament seems different, harsher.
Some of this is time, but also I don't think marriage is good for women or men. I could still go for her, but she is not the same. And then that so much time has passed, how has that effected me? For the positive?

So why the focus on F2F intimacy, and why does DFKing remain the holy grail?
To me it has always seemed like it must have come from when apes came down out of the trees and found that they then had two arms free, for holding things like extremely immature big headed babies.
And then that was also when they started to use fire to cook food, to keep the big cats away, and to keep warm. So this is also when they lost their hair.

Everyone needs to sleep, even beautiful women. I've made a careful field study.
Our sleeping is adapted to the Sun too.

We have learned to connect our sleep cycles together to help us be able to live by the Sun.
But in some times of extreme intimacy, our sleeping patterns revert to the pre-natal, shorter cycles running from 1 to 4 (REM), from before we had ever known the Sun, and allowing for recurring entries and load pumping throughout the course of an entire shack up.
Of course as primates, our use of sleep cycles goes way beyond the ways that other animals use them.
