They actually played Eryka Badu's "appletree" in a strip club??? Never would have imagined that lol.
Most of the music is a blur to me since it's mostly mumble rap stuff that I hear and don't really pay attention to. But at Playhouse in NJ the lovely Thais danced on stage to Justin Timberlake's 'Cant stop the feeling' and now every time I hear it I think of that. I liked the song before but now it has a sexy visual to go with it. Much better than the "Trolls" movie visual lol.
"American Boy" - Estelle, featuring Kanye West Heard in an Australian SC a long time ago, right after I walked in. I was like, "is it THAT obvious?!" Made for a nice ice breaker with the Aussie dancers. Man I love that accent...
The Badu Appletree song is from me SCing in the 90s. Badu just came out and the dancers were absolutely KILLING her CD. Man. Whenever I think of Erykah I think of strippers. And that particular club (still around) opens at 4pm so that afternoon shift was killing that CD.
2 Chainz - Boo Yo Gotti, Meek Mill - Fuck You T. Rone - Hello Love (F.U.)
Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'round the Ole Oak Tree by Tony Orlando and Dawn
^^That’s the only song title I recognize, lol.
Obviously I’m not going to the same clubs as gothamyte ;)
Godsmack - Greed Haley - Now or Never
Haley = Halsey - Now or Never
Cheech Marin - From dusk til dawn
Akon’s Beautiful. It’s a song about a PL’s DS.
magic man by heart (1st time I went to strip clubs was in the '70s)
GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS!!
#1 that makes me think of club because it gets played so much: California Love - Tupac.
Others are (due to frequent play): Wild Thoughts - DJ Khalead and Rihanna Despacito (Latinas dance to it) Starboy - The Weeknd Best Friend - Sofi Tukker Holidae Inn - Chingy Feat, Snoop, Ludacris Lean On - Majer Lazer Ex - Ty Dolla Hyponotize - Biggie
Digital bath - Deftones (not a frequent play, but a great rock song for club)
Oldies, as in 80's (great because I know lyrics and whisper them in girl's ear during dance, maybe she likes it maybe not, but I do): Need You Tonight - INXS ("your moves are so raw.." "there's something about you girl, that makes me sweat.") The Way You Make Me Feel - Michael Jackson ("you really turn me on, you knock me off of my feet")
"Rock On" by David Essex. That song was playing the first time I walked into a club. It was also the first time I ever saw a naked girl, slowly moving to the music with the red stage lights on her skin.
Rihana’s: We found Love.
My Darkest Days: Porn Star Dancing.
Montel Jordan - This is How We Do It Naughty by Nature - OPP Juvenille - Back Dat Azz Up R-Kelly - Thoia Thong R-Kelly - Ignition LL cool J - Doin It Nelly - It’s Gettin Hot in Heeeere Motley Crue - Girls Girls Girls

Gotye - Somebody that I use to know (remix) Olivia Newtown John - Physical
She will - lil Wayne Bounce it - juicy j (not that I hear it outside) California love - Tupac Down on me - Jeremih Help - Papa roach (the real pl anthem )
Rihanna, "Work". That came on the radio yesterday and I couldn't change the channel fast enough.
youtube.com my age but the lyrics are custom built for the dyanmics of a strip club.
You guys are lucky.
Baby Dolls is mostly country tunes. Zero sex appeal
These are some songs i always hear at strip clubs and sometimes only at strip clubs:
Rake It Up - Yo Gotti Wild Thoughts - DJ Khaled Crazy Bitch - Buckcherry Boday Yellow - Cardi B I Do Coke - Kill The Noise Fade - Kanye West
There are numerous others, but i don't feel like busting out my Shazam right about now...
Taking a trip down mammary lane, I’ll always link “Love Come Down” by Evelyn Champaign King to the Riverport Tavern In Sarnia, Canada. I remember tipping a beautiful French Canadian dancer on stage, who told me she was working her way through school as a stripper. I was 19 and thought about her for weeks after that one brief encounter. For some reason that moment has stuck with me some 34 years later and after I’ve forgotten countless other nights in strip clubs.
