Looks like the Dem may have eked out a narrow victory in a district Trump carried by 20 points in 2016

Why were they having a special election in the first place? Oh, yeah, "longtime Republican congressman Tim Murphy, who espoused strong anti-abortion views, resigned last fall amid revelations of an extramarital affair in which he urged his mistress to get an abortion."

Scott Brown won a special election. It was a big deal, until the regular election.

Right. Except Brown’s Jan 2010 special election victory was a precursor to the Tea Party wave in the 2010 mid-terms when Republicans gained 63 seats in the House.
