In LA this week for a business trip. I have spent some time in a few of the LA clubs on other trips but was thinking of stopping over in COI one night this week. I have never been over to COI before and would be coming from a evening work event in a sport coat. Is that over dressed for the COI area clubs? Any other differences I should be aware of between LA and COI and what club is your favorite. Appreciate it.

And then how about the Black clubs in Gardena?
Sounds like maybe in Pomona, Strip Joint, has a lower grade of dancers than Bare 'n' Legal?

Rio is owned by the same people who own 3 of the 6 COI clubs and it is run similarly. The only difference is that Rio is a predominantly AA club now and the other clubs are not. The mileage at Rio is also more hit or miss than at the COI clubs.
Trop Lei is a unique club all unto itself. Even the notorious COI clubs can't compare.
The 2 black clubs in Gardena will close soon. Starz is set to close next year and Ron’s Barbary Coast will probably follow. There is still KH8 but who knows for how much longer.
Pomona clubs like Stripjoint are bad and mongers know it. B N L used to be ok but they changed the VIP area so now there is no privacy. The dancers are also 4's at best and the tiny club is never busy, even at peak weekend nights.
Depending on where you are in LA, you may want to consider TJ's Showgirls in Stanton. Nice girls and extras can be had with the right ones. But if you want a "sure thing", then as has been said, go to COI or Tropical Lei. I also really like Bare Elegance by the airport. Beautiful girls, all nude, but expensive. Here also - with the right girl - extra's are on the table. Still the only place where a girl told me "I've never fucked a pilot", and then said she would for $1000 dollars. Euhh ... how about a "no"?

About Gardena, those clubs seemed to be on the margins, but is anyone sure they will close?

Personally, I found COI overrated. Sure, maybe once in a while it might be good but it's kind of rough. LA just isn't a town for strip clubs.
^^^ you gotta be kidding with this. Sounds like you've never been to an LA or COI club. This town has shitloads of clubs and plenty of them deliver. Sheesh.

Nothing beats COI clubs (with the exception of Trop Lei) in terms of value and mileage for your dollar. A sports coat is a little high end for any club there except maybe SRCOI, and even then I have never seen a guy in a sport coat there. This is LA - home of shorts & sandals all day, every day.
Synn is most mongers favorite due to great selection of girls, UHM and good prices. Just be aware of the constant buy-the-lady-a-drink hustle from the waitresses.
