  With civilians such is usually obligatory. But personally, do you want to be putting your time and money into car key wallet dating?
  
  I can see if it if just impromptu, call her up and see if she is free. That way she has very little time to obsess over it. Also, it doesn't tie you down. But many civvies will want that pre-scheduling days ahead, and something more than just a restaurant.

  The more time you have her in your bed, the more loads you can pump into her and the more in between times you will have for talking.
