^^^Im not real familiar with Detroit clubs never having been to a strip club in Detroit but I’d be very surprised to find out you are the only black girl in most clubs. It is true that most guys prefer spinners but if you have a good personality you can overcome that I’m sure.

I’ve been to a few. I like Vic’s Place in Irvington! There are a few spots I’ve enjoyed - and they’ve always been a good time.

@AshleyCash I’m in south Florida and the clubs are mostly mixed or black with a lot of Latinas but still even so it’s rare to go into any club and not find any black girls, even thicker girls, but I do notice even the thick black girls in the whiter clubs tend to wear their hair straight or styled in the black clubs they mostly wear their hair in a more Afro-centric manner. But that’s the main difference that I notice.

IME, mixed-clubs that hire a good # pf black dancers, are more of the exception; and if she's thick, even more of an exception - so step-1 would be to be hired in the first place which can often be an issue for thick AA girls and mixed-clubs.

IDK the Detroit scene too-well, but seems Criket hires a fair amout of ebony dancers; but IDK if they lean towards the slim ebonies as many a mixed-club tends to do, IME.

I'd say look into Criket, maybe Bogarts and Henry the VIII - La Chambre may be another option but city of Detroit clubs may not be an option due to licensing requirements as mentioned above.

And I would say def doll yourself up and accentuate your best features - wear a tight-top w/ a push-up bra showing major-cleavage that way the hiring manager will say "damn; some of the custies gotta like those titties".

And yeah - many of the Detroit-area mixed-clubs are very extras-heavy compared to the black clubs, from my limited experience.

Ive never had a problem, ever, getting hired at any of the clubs that I wanted to work at....unless it was a stricly white club, that's the only other time I was turned down. So Im not really concerned about getting hired, just looking for clubs outside of what Im used to.... But thanks none the less, I seen 2 people mention Cricket so I may give that one a shot

You should. A lot of clubs have been getting raided, Legends has gotten raided several times over the last few months, VICE was just there less than two weeks ago. And if you are working at a club.when it's raided and you don't have a dance card, you get a ticket for "soliciting prostitution" or some shit.

I haven't been to Legends in a couple months, but when I first got hired there in August or so one of the people in charge of hiring basically told me they were on a black girl hiring freeze. After he hired me, I asked him if I could bring my friend in. He said, "is she white?" I said yes, he said "good, because we're not hiring a lot of black girls right now."

Getting a dance card is frustrating, but you can call the precinct for info or pm me if you're serious about it and I'll tell you what steps you have to take. If you start by 1pm you can usually get it done before 3:30 (the precinct stops dealing with dance cards at 3:30 or 3:45 last I checked, but they've changed precincts twice in the last couple years).

What used to be The Toychest now Club 228 seems to be more or a booty club now just going from their Instagram. Not sure what their sister club Truth on 8 mile has has going on but would imagine something similar

No they weren't, Nina. Eva from Zou texted me and asked me why the VIPs were closed that night. I was there that night and they were closed for like 10 mins so the managers could check stuff out up there. Vice hasn't been to Legends since late December. But they were at Truth last weekend.

And to the OP, check out TwoSheds. It's a MI based strip club forum and it lists the clubs both inside and outside of the city limits separately. I would bet my job that any managers in the city limits would hire a dancer without a cabaret license right now due to vice being up everyone's asses. TwoSheds is (sadly) a dying forum, but the way the lists are compiled is quite useful.

Late July (when the curtains coming down was established for August, early December, and then the Tuesday before Christmas. Also another girl I know from Legends said they came on back to back nights in December and many tickets were issued (how many, I have no idea). Another said they lined up all the girls, shined flashlights on them, and anyone whose nips showed through the flashlights got a ticket as well as every girl wearing white.

And again, was told while I was working on a day mid-Jan that vice was currently at Legends. I guess they didn't specify whether it was a raid or a chat with management, but my club was informed that they were there. That's too much vice in my life for me to want to return to Legends any time soon.

You might like trumps on 8 mile. Same owners have the landing strip, playhouse and Subi's so you've got options if you're not feeling it. I know they'd transport you around too to their other clubs. Just a thought

Are you looking for a black club? My cousin is a thick black dancer, if you are still here I can send her a text asking which clubs are good right now. I think you'd do a lot better there than Trumpp's or most white clubs on 8 mile. You'll have to compete with lots of spinners as well as all the extras.
